Yes, the leather is the best. Sooo scrumptious. I do love all the zipper compartments too and that handle is so soft and bouncy, yet sturdy (it's marine rope wrapped in leather, I remember reading somewhere). It's their signature style and they come out with different colours every season, I believe. I love DP!

Happy to find other Deadly Ponies fans! I love my DP bag, which is cobalt deer leather. It's soft and thick and gorgeous. I have a couple of vintage Pradas that are squashy deer leather, but not as nice as the DP leather.Thanks for making my day, BgaHolic!
Happy to hear that as I had passed on a preowned Prada deerskin bag (I'm not a fan of the brand and the hardware was too overwhelming for me) before I got my DP and justified it by thinking the money I'd spend on the Prada could go to my DP want. I wanted the cobalt! It is gorgeous and I wouldn't worry about it fading but I got the Ink which is this season and pretty similar so I'm happy.
Yes, I had tried out the brand by getting a luscious cardholder first in a gorgeous colour I coveted (Iodine) and I was sold and smitten at first touch.

Totally agree with all of you -- Deadly Ponies is one of my favorite brands. I have a Black Mr Cub and an Iodine Mr Dusman and I'm definitely interested in getting a few more DP bags. Such great leather and love the quality for the price.
Good to hear so many raves about Deadly Ponies; it's a brand I've considered for a long time. You guys should start a thread if there isn't one and post pics. That's the hardest thing for me about buying a nee brand sight unseen-less reviews and mod shots, so less of an idea about what you're getting into.
Ahhh I need to kick in here. DH bought me Smythson a heart shaped keychain and a little mini notebook. I love them!

My first bag was the Mr Leopard in black, which quickly expanded to include a wallet, zip pouch and Mr Market (massive and sturdy for uni)

I know that I've posted a pic of my Iodine Mr Dusman in the 2014 shopping your closet thread. It was hard to buy a DP sight unseen, but I love the color of Iodine and they have a good return policy, so I took a chance and it was a good decision for me.
I have admired several Junior Drake bags over the years but I never bought a single one. Today, a couple more showed up at Winenrs and I wish I could buy them. I would if I went back to carrying ONE handbag for 4-5 years straight but those days are gone!
This Caroline satchel is like a cross between Treesje and Linea Pelle (I have had to consign most of my Treesje & LP bags simply because I own too many bags; not that I didn't still love each one) so I can't collect these
but I like both the black and the tobacco. This is a GREAT bag if you ask me - the kind you carry if you just owned ONE bag, sigh.
