Oksana Signed, Then Rejected $15 Mil Deal

TMZ has learned ... Oksana Grigorieva signed an agreement with Mel Gibson for a $15 million package, which would have kept the Mel tapes secret, but she ultimately walked away from it.
Sources tell TMZ, during the child custody mediation in May, lawyers for Mel and Oksana worked out a financial deal for Oksana -- she would get a total of $15 mil, which included child support, a house and other assets.
But sources intimately familiar with the mediation tell us Oksana promised something in return -- that all "evidence" associated with the case remain confidential.
We've learned the "evidence" includes the tapes. Oksana's lawyers had played some, but not all of the tapes for Mel's lawyers. We're told Oksana's lawyers did not play the tape in which Gibson used the N word and made a reference to "wetbacks."
As one source put it, "The tapes loomed large in the mediation. The word 'tapes' was never used in the agreement, but it was central to the deal."
Oksana and Mel both signed a "short form agreement" -- a bare-bones contract outlining the broad strokes of the deal. The lawyers then drafted a long form agreement which contained specifics of the deal, but we're told Oksana refused to sign the long form, claiming she felt coerced.
We're told Mel never paid Oksana under the deal because the short form didn't spell out the specifics of payment and Oksana refused to sign the longer agreement which contained the details.

Houses aren't cheap here and property tax sucks too.

Instead, it seems to be veering into something a little heated. Since we're not going to solve centuries of racial issues via purse forum, can we agree to disagree on some of the more adamantly-presented issues, perhaps? At least we can all agree that Gibson is a colossal failure at this point.
The conversation was not veering into something a little heated, rather it veered into something very typical. Thus no call necessary for agreements or disagreements since it was already at a stalemate.

Verbally abusive, threatening, bipolar, drunkeness, verbal garbage, cheater, edited tapes, calculated victim, extortion - ugh! This is karma for both of them. Maybe they should just reconcile!
Yes! A month into my "first relationship" after HS, the BF began to talk craziness after seeing my roommate's copy of "Night" by Elie Wiesel. Had to let him go and he was soooo gorgeous & smart & charismatic & all that la-la-land stuff, but oh so ugly after that episode. Can't surround myself with friends & acquaintances who feel comfortable enough to speak like that about women, religions & others like that. Thus Oksana knew her man, she knew he would go off like that so she could tape it and thus her calm demeanor.

But then again, I guess that's why 'women' (ahem) like her are able to become very rich after doing what they do - morals are just so passe right? Especially in the morally-bankrupt society called Hollywood...

I think that a woman who is with a married man needs to think twice. I would never do it myself. But technically no, she's not the one breaking vows.
Well I am going to respectfully disagree.
A man could never cheat if he didn't have a willing accomplice. So to me both are as bad as each other. There is no way I see an adulteress as somehow being higher on the 'immoral rungs', so to speak. In no way.
So whilst everyone may think the Tiger Woods, Jesse James and Mel Gibsons of the world are the slime of the earth, to me they're no worse than the women they hook up with. It matters not to me whether he's the married one and she isn't. They're all devoid of moral integrity IMO.
But yeah, I hate cheaters with a passion.

Yes they are, when they are willingly and KNOWINGLY engaging in a rship be it physical, emotional, etc with a married individual. They have intruded on the bonds of that marriage. The person who is married broke the vows but they are BOTH committing adultery.

I actually thought adults were discussing this, to even stoop to calling me a mistress type of person is just childish. We all have our opinions regardless if we agree with them or not.
I never said it wasn't wrong to cheat with a married person, I said he was the one breaking his vows. She didn't make him cheat with her. He knew he had a wife and 7 children at home. And he has cheated in the past, so this wasn't a new concept for him. He was the one that didn't use protection and got someone pregnant. No one tricked him into doing any of this. Just like no one made him say all those nasty things.
As far as me having been through this, I have. I was engaged to someone I dated for many years and while I was away on travel he cheated. When I got back and find out I was so pissed at him. I ended up breaking up with him and moving on.
And if my hubs of 19.5 years ever cheated with someone I would be more pissed at him than the woman because he was the one married to me.
And not all people that cheat with married people know they are married(not in this case). And many wives know their hubs are cheating but don't say anything. And that to me is sad, why would you let someone keep cheating on you and humiliating you in that way.
