Wow! Talk about a scam! Glad these ladies are here to warn everyone!

I had someone e-mail me about 3 yr ago. I had won an Ocean Legacy Bag back when they were hot. Someone e-mailed me and told me that the seller was stealing money. I was failry new to selling & buying. I ripped the check apart...

it's like they say "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is"....this rule is especially true on ebay

Eh, no harm no foul, haven't paid her, she's not getting any of my money I was able to stop payment. I figured it was too good to be true and put a call into the bank.

good!!!! obviously don't pay, but you should probably still open an ebay dispute since she's no longer a registered user. that way nothing funny will happen with your feedback or NPB etc

Did exactly as you said. Ugh. I hate dishonest losers on ebay. I hope nobody was swindled by her!!!

This is interesting. She e-mailed me and offerd a refund saying she put the wrong price on the item then ended it incorrectly, and she didn't mean to offer it to me, she meant to end it because of an incorrect price. Anyway she said she'd refund the money but I'd already stopped the payment so it's all good I guess....

yeah, I would just ignore it and make sure you get your money. she's fishy, just move on, there are always good deals to be found
