I shop once a month for several hundred $. Maybe it really is that random. I wish you could apply so that they can take a look into your account and shopping habits and really consider you.

I called Yoox earlier this year and asked them about Superstar status. They said it has to do with how much you spend but they also take into consideration (assume as a negative) on how much, many and often you return items. No other information was given to me including how close (or far) I was from qualifying.
I received a special discount code and had used it and since received my goodies. However, one of the Manoush's sweaters I had received the "Manoush" tag of coming off and the hasma butttom was not even included, which is suppose to be part of the design. Thus, I question, whether the items from Yoox is authentic ? Can anyone let me know ? Also, I was not aware the items of was being shipped from Hong Kong ? which was a surprise to me as well. Thank you
They are authentic. In fact I think they run some of the designer's sites for them (someone who knows more about this could elaborate or correct me). I've never had items shipped from Hong Kong from them (mine are usually shipped from Italy or the US), but it might depend on where you live and where the store the materials. I do think their Hong Kong location is new (once again, someone who knows more could expand on this). At any rate, Yoox is authentic, but the items may be several seasons old, etc., which can sometimes be the reason for things not being just so.
How about German sizes? What is a 36 German (women's clothing) in US/IT/UK?
Hi!! Usually a German size 36 is an American size 4/6...but more towards a 6 depending on style. So it would be an Italian size 42, and a UK 8 is a US 6 (by and large...)
Of course, many designers design small/large, so you have to be careful. Valentino for example, runs very small...whereas Marni runs large.
Yeah - I got the same response. To be honest, I'm OK with not being a superstar because (except for final sale items) I like to be able to return, the sizing on Yoox varies so much that being able to return (and return frequently) is something I wouldn't give up just to be a superstar.
For example, Moschino Cheap and Chic - a size 42 is a size "8" and a size 44 is a size "10" according to Yoox, which isn't really accurate, a 42 Italian should be a 6 and a 44 should be an 8.

^ I contacted Yoox about this about a year ago - and that is what they told me, the top 4%...
Now I definitely think that the earlier you shopped at Yoox, they were more likely to make those people superstars. I joined in 2009, and I guess that's not early enough to make it.
Granted I don't spend thousands a month, *but* I do all my shopping there, so I wish they had some kind of loyalty/perks to being very loyal customers...
That's very strange. I have only received packages from the U.S. and Italy.
