^ I contacted Yoox about this about a year ago - and that is what they told me, the top 4%...

Now I definitely think that the earlier you shopped at Yoox, they were more likely to make those people superstars. I joined in 2009, and I guess that's not early enough to make it.

Granted I don't spend thousands a month, *but* I do all my shopping there, so I wish they had some kind of loyalty/perks to being very loyal customers...

I called Yoox earlier this year and asked them about Superstar status. They said it has to do with how much you spend but they also take into consideration (assume as a negative) on how much, many and often you return items. No other information was given to me including how close (or far) I was from qualifying.

I received a special discount code and had used it and since received my goodies. However, one of the Manoush's sweaters I had received the "Manoush" tag of coming off and the hasma butttom was not even included, which is suppose to be part of the design. Thus, I question, whether the items from Yoox is authentic ? Can anyone let me know ? Also, I was not aware the items of was being shipped from Hong Kong ? which was a surprise to me as well. Thank you

Yeah - I got the same response. To be honest, I'm OK with not being a superstar because (except for final sale items) I like to be able to return, the sizing on Yoox varies so much that being able to return (and return frequently) is something I wouldn't give up just to be a superstar.

For example, Moschino Cheap and Chic - a size 42 is a size "8" and a size 44 is a size "10" according to Yoox, which isn't really accurate, a 42 Italian should be a 6 and a 44 should be an 8.

They are authentic. In fact I think they run some of the designer's sites for them (someone who knows more about this could elaborate or correct me). I've never had items shipped from Hong Kong from them (mine are usually shipped from Italy or the US), but it might depend on where you live and where the store the materials. I do think their Hong Kong location is new (once again, someone who knows more could expand on this). At any rate, Yoox is authentic, but the items may be several seasons old, etc., which can sometimes be the reason for things not being just so.

Thank you for that...I did called to their HK office as I live in Asia and the operator passed me to a sale person, which I think she also handles for other dept stores/designers. She asked me whether I am calling for YOOX company and I said yes, she told me to ship the faulty items back to her, which I am in the process of doing.

I must say, I was a bit disappointed by my first purchase experience. One was faulty and the other was with piles of white stuff against black so it turned me off a bit. So instead, I saw the same sweater at ASOS (which I am a frequent shopper) even though it was a bit expensive, I dont mind and had placed my order with them instead.....but the other 2 items (couple seasons old) I really like it, but cannot find it anywhere online ;(....

How about German sizes? What is a 36 German (women's clothing) in US/IT/UK?

Hi!! Usually a German size 36 is an American size 4/6...but more towards a 6 depending on style. So it would be an Italian size 42, and a UK 8 is a US 6 (by and large...)

Of course, many designers design small/large, so you have to be careful. Valentino for example, runs very small...whereas Marni runs large.

Thanks, I just bought a top by ella singh (German). I am not familiar with the designer or German sizing. Thanks for the input.

Totally agree.

That's very strange. I have only received packages from the U.S. and Italy.

I started shopping at yoox in 2004 and only received the superstar email once or twice. I also received some stickers and a very small bottle of yoox perfume which I didn't really like. I never received any additional discount as superstar and now I don't receive emails anymore....

I too was expecting shippments from USA or Italy or even France as Manoush is a french brand, but somehow, I got them shipped from Hong Kong. In Asia, including Hong Kong there are lots of high end, knock offs, some items you cannot tell them apart, and some of these are sold in high end standalone boutiques setting, which is a bit scary. That was why I opted to order them from a reputable online shop, even if it means costing me a little more for shipping, to get real authentic items.
