the wallet arrived today! i forgot i also have a vernis agenda i use as a passport holder. there was some colour transfer from who knows where and i was using my monogram koala agenda instead. going to attempt a simpler colour change (all black) on it as well! here are some before shots. i probably won’t be able to tackle this until after the weekend but posting it here will keep it fresh in my mind :biggrin:

Honestly, just leave the wallets as is, cos the scratches add character to them, but if you want to dye them, try with the lighter one first as an experiment. :)

I noticed in the picture of your supplies t hatyou have bottles that are labeled paint. In a prior post OP said to use dye, not paint so just pointing that out in case the purchase you hadn't seen that.

yes after some research it seems as though paint is more vibrant than dye and requires less coats. since i'd be using a leather glosser and sealer on top, i'm not too concerned. I'm trying to avoid multiple rounds of dyeing.

Wow, you’re ready to go! Please remember gloves too, I got a split in them one time, my finger looked awful! I have never tried dyeing the inside leather (as you can see in my previous pics) as I haven’t really seen anyone do it successfully before and I didn’t want to deal with anymore mess. I hear you on trying painting instead, the process I used does take a long time and a lot of care. Best of luck
