Honestly, I love the stone, the colour is so fiery and delicious!! Oval-cut diamonds just look so decadent IMO - you get great bling for buck
It's funny, I've been looking at a FI yellow oval diamond on the net, nowhere near as big as this baby but still, so elegant looking

I ended up having the FLU...so I've been pretty sick. Been in bed all week but starting to feel more human today.
While I love the ring and am getting a great deal (or a deal I can live with) I am still hesitant. Retiring, lifestyle, practicality, use...don't know the reason.
I usually know just what I want and buy it. Period!
I'll go in this week and look again...maybe the ring will sing to me and that will be it!

I have so much to do...total bathroom gut-job at my rental property. New everything. Had the vanity/granite top made and they forgot to send a part. I haven't seen it since the new tile/walls went in but ex-DH said it looks great. We'll see.
When I feel better and in a good state of mind I'll make a decision.

Went in yesterday to oggle again...thank God this jeweler is a doll!
He suggested I wait...he might be able to find a pear. He couldn't guarantee a YV but at least a YI.
Same style, which I loved, and similar carat weight.

Vicky...I am very tall with LONG fingers. Anything small, on me, looks like it should belong to Barbie
