You have the most amazing jewelry. It's gorgeous.
:hugs:

So... Have you decided to keep it or not? I know I am a bit hasty but the more I look at it, the more I want it haha. I told you to hold off for a while but not sure I could do it if I were you. Keep us posted, plzzzzz
LOL! You are too much, Cung!!!

OMG this is stunning......You must have the best jewellery collection ever :D
Thanks, my dear! Not the best by any stretch, but I hope...interesting! Wouldn't have even thought of a yellow diamond ring had it not been for the damn gals, on tPF, and all their gorgeous yellow diamond rings. UGH!!!

Lol your right there is just too much enabling on this forum :graucho::graucho:

My Dh keeps threatening to disconnect our Broadband :nogood::nogood:

Yeah girlfriend, this is a show stopper! The color is amazingly rich  If you could choose your preferred shape in this exact ring, sounds like it may be cushion or radiant....? Those are my favorite cuts as well. That being said, if I was in a small area that rarely received items such as this, I would think long and hard if I was willing to pass this beauty up. :thinkin: If you can see yourself loving it til the end of time, snatch it up!! If not, wait for your dream stone. Lucky you:)

I think the shape is very flattering on your finger :graucho:

let's not even talk about the saturation and vibrancy of the colour:hbeat:. My favorite part of yellow diamonds is the fire they throw!! it's so different from white diamonds.
I hate to say it, Candice...but it does look good. You are so right about the fire!
My jeweler told me to take it for the weekend, wear it, see how I liked it. What a peach and TRUSTING! Of course I wouldn't because of the price point...with my luck I'd get mugged on my way out to dinner. Too nervous! But I thought it was very nice of him.

Not to be a PITA...but I figured out my problem with the oval shape.
My first Ex-DH gave me a lovely oval 2 ct e-ring in 1980. While we didn't end on a terrible note I kinda think of this as bad karma...something crazy, I know.
I'm sure I'd get over it, but it's my feeling now. The stone IS the ring and something I can't change...unlike a setting.
Damn Ex/Ex husbands!!!

What about a trip to see rings in New York City first? Maybe also check out diamonds by Lauren (although I've never bought from him). The wrong shape would be a deal breaker for me, but maybe not for you!

I see his point! I may just disconnect myself after this drama. :graucho:

Darling CATEYES...how are you doing? You know what...I wouldn't mind a pear shape. Someone posted a gorgeous yellow pear with halo e-ring...thought it was stunning! And of course Candice's yellow pear necklace.
Good point and another thing to ponder........................

Hi Lee...too afraid to buy online. I have to see a diamond IRL, kind of getting a feel for the stone. Hard to explain..................
NYC would be an option but I'm lazy...plus it's nice to have someone local incase of trouble.

what an amazing jeweller! obviously he trusts you 120%!

that's understandable! if you have a history with a certain shape of diamond/gemstone it'll bring back memories. as we all know jewellery is super personal and many memories can be attached to a certain piece.

it's all personal preference so perhaps go back again and try it on and see how you feel about it a second time. if you're still hesitant then you know it's not the yellow diamond for you ;)

He is a good guy...very fair, plus he wants the sale!
Still thinking...but first to my hairdresser. See, I still have my priorities straight. LOL!

This ring is just so stunning. If you aren't completely in love with it though you shouldn't get it. The saturation of the color is just the prettiest shade of goldenrod. Have you made any headway in your decision yet or are you still fairly on the fence about it? :) Regardless it's very beautiful ring and whoever it ends up with will be one very lucky lady! Thanks for sharing it!

After seeing this gorgeous ring, I never thought I'd say this, but if I were you, I don't think I'd buy it. At what I'm sure is considerable cost, it's not something you want to be settling for. And, you are right, the stone IS the ring.

I swear I'm not just saying that so you'll tell me where it is! :graucho:
