Posted this in the Jewelry Chat but thought I'd post in the general.
I love diamonds and have a workable knowledge, plus I know what I like. That said, I'm not as knowledgeable when it comes to yellow diamonds.
I've been offered a 3.08 cw, FV, VS1 oval/diamond 1.25, F, VS2, 18kt WG ring. GIA certified.
The yellow is very vibrant with almost a hint of orange. I love the setting...enough white diamond pizzaz without overwelming the yellow diamond. No gaps in the halo.
Not sold on the oval shape but it looks great in this setting.
As usual my pics are not great but you get the idea.
I'd love any input........................Honesty appreciated :graucho:

SQ you NEED this! it's amazing!

but....if you do not love the oval shape then maybe you should wait until your jeweler has a shape that you absolutely love?

I was hoping you'd chime in. I could live with the oval because the color is so fabulous!

IRL...it's far from dainty. My finger's are LONG! :heart:

very nice, i just traded an oval that was fancy light yellow because i eventually want to get a yellow diamond with more color, congrats on such a great find, enjoy!

Wow, it's amazing. Fancy vivid is extremely hard to find, no wonder you are so tempting. This would be a nice statement piece, but if you don't love oval shape, maybe hold on for a while to think of. Do you really really love it?
