***Year in Review: Looking Back at 2017 with LV***

Overall 2017 was a good year for me personally and professionally and was filled with lots of great additions to my LV family. I had a busier than expected year with Louis Vuitton. All my purchases were bought on vacations to Paris and Cancun. I also bought quite a bit for family members.

These were acquired during my May trip to Paris for the French Open. The Tahitiennes Neverfull was an exchange for the Racing Neverfull I purchased in December which got color transfer.

I’m seriously cutting back next year and the only thing I’m looking for is a World Tour Neverfull in GM. Other than that I believe my LV collection is now complete.

1. Epi Agenda PM in Noir with 2017 refill from Hong Kong, April

4. Christmas loot, two boxes are mine and rest are Christmas presents for my cousins and good friend. Love the Holiday wrapping. Purchased in Kuala Lumpur.

Have been thinking of the Epi Speedy 25 since it was introduced last year, tried it twice but couldn’t decide if I should pull the trigger. Lovely as a handheld but a bit odd as shoulder bag.

I bought a lot of bags and SLGs this year. Most were Coach 1941 items, but I also bought my first LV items; a NF MM in DA, and two Pochette Cles (DA and DE). I’m saving my DA items for the spring.

I’m happy with my collection for now, although I may pick up a Mini Pochette in DA. I’m going to focus more on refreshing my wardrobe in 2018.

2017 was a year of disappointment for me with LV. I got tired of deciding on items only to not be able to find them anywhere. Simple SLGs. Again and Again. I don’t want an item more because it’s hard to find. I get annoyed and move on. I find it annoying that when I got into LV in 2015 Pomme d Amour was showing as an option for a cosmetic pouch online but unavailable. I stalked the website for months. Searched boutiques and was told by SAs that they hadn’t made it for years. No one could understand why it showed as an option. That’s was 2015. Here it’s almost 2018 and it still shows as an option in the USA. But it has NEVER been available. I find the whole thing annoying. I am moving on to Gucci for SLGs.

2017 was a good LV year for me. I purchased the Pallas Clutch in Rose Poudre, Tahitienne bag charm and bandeau. I purchased the Noir Monogram Shawl from the Galeries Lafayette in Paris last summer. That entire store is amazing and my S.A. was so lovely! I also purchased a MC zippy coin purse from Fashionphile and a pair of LV open toe pumps. My last item for this year (fingers crossed) will be the Stellar Sneaker Boots in black if they can locate the item since it is out of stock online. I should find out next week if the product request can be completed. That's all for my 2017. :smile:
