Wrong authenticity card came with purchase

Is it a big deal if the serial number on the card is not matching my SLG that I purchased at the Chanel store (I received two wrong cards!) My SO has already gone to the store with me twice so don't want to make him go again on our vacation.

Yes it is a big deal, what if you wanted to sell the slg in the future, how would you explain that the cards don't match? I don't think most buyers would like that.

If you're sure you'll never sell it & it won't bother you, then let it go.

For me, it would be a big deal. And so what if he has to back again? He should be happy to!

Definitely get this sorted out. Also make sure you get the correct card when you go back. It's a pain but you'll feel better in the end.

That would definitely bother me. Maybe try calling the store first and see what they can do for you.

Like all the other TPFers have suggested, definitely go back to the original store and have this sorted out. This is unacceptable!

Yeah definitely go back to get the right card. So sorry to hear that you're having all this problems. Hope it all get sorted out.

I got the right authenticity card and swapped the coin case. Now just need to get the loose stitch in the mini I bought repaired in the states when I get back. I couldn't bear to part with it because it's so hard to find!
