Would you put non-Pandora beads on your Pandora bracelet?

When I first got my pandora I mixed and matched all of my beads that meant something from different brands but then one day I was looking at it and it was so clustered and mismatched it wasn't even cute :( so I took it apart and did my pandora in pandora only with a theme (purple&hearts), it is so gorg now, and bought a silver chamilia bracelet(a lot cheaper than pandoras ss bracelet) and put all my memories and special beads on it. Now I love them both. IMO pandora has its own look and to mix it with other brands doesn't look very good so maybe keep your nice pandora as a pretty bracelet like me and put your memories on a separate one

Personally, I don't mix my Pandora beads with other bead brands.

I used to own several Trollbeads and a few other brands, but they didn't flow with the Pandora beads. So, I moved them off of the bracelet onto a Trollbeads bracelet, and I kept my Pandora on its own. After some time, however, I sold off everything besides the Pandora. To me, the Pandora simply looks more "grown up" than other brands.

I have mostly Trollbeads... I have three Trollbeads bracelets, two silver, one leather, and a silver bangle on the way...
I mostly like Trollbeads because of the style of their glass and silver, it is more my style, but Pandora has been coming up with some more detailed glass beads and some styles of silver that I am really liking!
I have only two Pandora beads right now... a buddha and a happy fish. If I see something I like, I have no problem mixing.
But the Pandora beads do look different... so I think I might end up buying a pandora bracelet to put them on, we will see!

hey all..A little help needed.

I usually mix and match Pandora and Chamilia. I like beads from both brands. My base bracelet is Pandora and recently out of the two similar looking Chamilia beads, one refuses to fit in the Bracelet. Any suggestion/tips etc as to what I can do to make it fit..is there any way to slightly increase the 'hole' of the beads??
use a dremel.. A few years ago for my birthday my sister in law gave me some pretty beads - they are marked Pandora but they would not go on my bracelet - I was also told they were discontinued - the Hubs took his dremel too the inside of the bead and they are not on my bracelet and come off and on with ease.

I love Pandora, but I have to kindly disagree. No way Pandora looks more "grown up" than Trollbeads. I collect both and for me Pandora has a more cutesy look, sometimes even childish depending on how you style it, but I don't care. Trollbeads has the most "grown up" looking beads out there, IMO.

Hey, fancy seeing you here. ;)

Not a problem. We have the right to disagree. Personally, I couldn't get past Trollbeads' whimsy factor, and the overall look of their glass beads. While several pieces were quite pretty, they weren't my style.

I just started my Pandora bracelet about 3 weeks ago. I already have 5 charms, but purchasing must slow down for now :) I found a huge sale at Kohl's today & they had their make "individuality" beads marked way down + an extra 25% off. I got a SS bible with a gold over silver cross on the front. I was a little iffy to mix with my Pandora (OCD kicked in) but I LOVE it!! I think it is all about what you like. I just want a mixture of my favorite things & I wear it proudly. So far I have the Queen Bee (my hubby is a bee keeper), I have the lucky cat (boss gave me for my birthday), Mom heart (I got with the $ my son gave me for my birthday), I love you heart (My hubby got me for our anniversary), A cloud's silver lining open design (hubby got me for our anniversary), & now the bible. I also have 2 beaded clips. I totally LOVE it!! Many blessings to you & your family!!

I love a lot of the charm brands and mix it all up. Brand is less important than overall look and theme IMO, I've seen pure Pandora bracelets that looked like a jumbled mess due to poor bead arrangement or clashing colors, and bracelets featuring many brands that are very cohesive and arranged beautifully.

I started with Pandora but quickly started buying other charms too. Individuality from Kohl's is one of the first brands I bought that wasn't Pandora, I have many of their beads now, they are very nice quality for the price, I wait for their best sales and they are far cheaper than Pandora. I also like the other "prestige" charm brands too though, I am always looking for deals. I buy know-names on amazon or websites like that too, they have some gems mixed with the junk if you look.

Would you mind showing your individuality beads? I wonder how they look next to Pandora

Here's an example, hopefully picture posts okay...you can see the squirrel, bird nest, flower basket, and windmill on this picture. Squirrel, bird nest, and flower basket are larger than most Individuality Beads and they have small cores so won't fit Pandora bracelets. Most do fit Pandora though and are similar in size to Pandora. If you have specific questions about a particular bead from this line let me know and I can take a picture for you or give you a review if I have the bead.

Yes of course! Don't let people think that Pandora charms are the only thing to be put on a pandora bracelet it's still the same idea having various charms you love to have on a bracelet
