Would you ever get a Chanel tattoo?

I remember that in the past certain companies would pay you if you tattooed their brand onto your body...

Lol but I don't think that I would ever do it though...

Never! Firstly, I am not a fan of tattoos. Secondly, what if ( I said only "what if") after a while I don't like Chanel anymore and I switch over to Hermes, now, will I have to go through the painful process again to remove the "Chanel" tattoo from my neck and now tattoo "Hermes" on my shoulder?

I don't see a problem with it. I have tattoos and they are personal. If a person wants to have a logo tattooed on them then it's their choice. It's permanent, but no less an advertisement than bold CCs on a handbag. I can understand an interlocking Cs tattoo more than interlocking Cs earrings - that to me is just paying for a brand logo usually in the form of tiny fake stones that are glued in and fall out for a ridiculously high sum of money - honestly without the interlocking Cs you could pick up Chanel costume jewelry at Claires for a few bucks. However, it's about being seen in the Cs and whether that's a tattoo or some other Chanel item doesn't matter. We are all sucked into the allure of the exclusivity. This is just my perception and probably way off from the norm...Having said that, do the people who say it's tacky hate the idea of a Chanel tattoo or a tattoo in general? And those who say it isn't personal, maybe a Chanel tattoo is personal to someone - a gal whose mom used to wear No. 5 all the time, the gal whose hubby gave her a Chanel bag for every anniversary - it could be a special meaning to the person who has it.

ETA: I don't have a CC tattoo
