as much as i love Chanel i'm never gonna have the cc logo tattooed on me - as someone said earlier it's a bit trying too hard.

No... although I used to work with a girl who wanted a Chanel logo tattoo.
-I DO have a cousin named Chanel though. She's a seven year old Chinese girl living in the suburbs of Los Angeles, she has NO idea what she shares her namesake with (don't ask why my uncle chose this name, my mom said it was because he liked perfume
) -so maybe if she got a Chanel logo one day, that would make a little bit of sense, although I still wouldn't advocate it. LOL

I saw someone at saks who has a Chanel tattoo. Not just "Chanel" or "CC" but the whole upper body picture of Coco Chanel on one of her lower leg(below her knee)

I think this is better than the CC logo since it doesn't scream "BRAAAAND!!!!" like the guy's tattoo or that awful awful car.
The worst thing I saw was a photo of a man with these LV logo gold appliques on his two front teeth... that was bad.
I think it is weird! Why would you want to have a brand label on yourself? I love chanel but we are all unique people and shouldn't be literally labelled like an object. 
I think having a trademark or a logo on your body is quite sick. You are literally making yourself part of some big companies advertising and that is just weird that you are willing to do that for them by marking your body. Tatoos can look great but that is just totally pointless.
