Would you carry a Damier Ebene LV in spring/summer?

DE is great for traveling regardless of seasons. Some areas still have wet weather during Summer. Where I live, Summer sometime feels like fall and winter. As you say, darker DE might be more appropriate for work.

I don't think it's too dark for summer honestly any bag is good for any weather/season I don't discriminate them by colour or pattern! An all black outfit is good for summer for all I care wear what you want!

My bag is DE and I use it all year round, I do feel that DA is more of a summer colour though.

I wear de year round just depending on my outfit. I actually like the contrast between de and a lighter summery outfit. I tend to gravitate to my monogram because in the neverfull I find the monogram a bit more carefree since I've already had to get my straps replaced once on the de and I tend to want to protect her more. So I end up carrying the monogram more but I will say the de has my heart still.

I agree with what a lot of others are saying, I think DE is more of a winter color and DA is for sure a summer color, while mono is year-round. That's only my opinion though, buy what you love because your the one who will be wearing it!!

All my LV is in DE print except my 4key ring holder is in monogram. Back to the topic I use my DE print all year long and I don't think there is a rule it comes with what wether or what not. IMHO I will rock a Azur in the middle of the night If I have one and I will rock a empriente leather bag in 711 convenient store❤️ Bottom line it depends on your personal preference.
