Would you carry a Damier Ebene LV in spring/summer?

I use DE all year long. I do think of DA as a summer color though.

I used to feel this way as well.. Then this past winter I saw a woman who was wearing her DA bag with a cream colored, long wool coat. She had on cream cashmere gloves and hat as well. The bag looked great! It was a hobo style they don't make anymore..

I do wear my DE bag in the summer, but usually only if it's raining. My first choice for summer would be DA or mono.

DE is an ok choice all year. For business you might also consider an Epi neverfull - many good colors from which to choose.

i've used DE in the summer, and i'm using DA in the winter (it's usually sunny and doesn't snow where i live)

monogram is a good print for all seasons though

I was using my DE Speedy today so no I don't think it is too dark for the summer. I also use my DA bags during the winter.

This topic comes up a lot, and I think that most feel that it is personal preference. I personally think that it is too dark for me in the summer, but I also really look forward to and enjoy rotating my bags based on the seasons. I enjoy my Azur bags in the Spring and Summer and my DE bags in the Fall and Winter, and Mono as well as all my others all year-round!!

I totally agree for me it's too dark for summer, but I also like different color bags and styles and like my bags to match my outfits... It's one of the reasons I never bought more than 2 brown LVs... People wear it with anything, but I don't. I love the LV Vernis that comes in different colors, I get more use of those

I live in Queensland, Australia so it's constantly summer, and I've been carrying my DE Neverful everyday since I got her last October
I do tend to live in black clothing year-round tho lol so maybe my opinion is a bit skewed

I don't think it's too dark for summer honestly any bag is good for any weather/season I don't discriminate them by colour or pattern! An all black outfit is good for summer for all I care wear what you want!

ITA- I tend to use my lighter bags in warm weather and dark bags in cooler weather. But, I use DE when it rains. I think mono is more of a year-round color. But, if you're planning on using the NF for work I'd get the DE. You won't have to worry when it rains.

I have been using my DE Neverfull on a daily basis without regard for the seasons. Honestly, if I weren't carrying something DE I would probably be carrying something black. I have a few Azur pieces that are beautiful but I think I am just not a light color bag person.
