RIGHT NOW, people seem to be quite comfortable with $100 limit for the first time around. and 2 months seems to be good for everyone (or even 6 weeks). if this goes well, everyone seems to be willing to up the limit.
to answer new questions i've gotten in emails:
-NO, it doesn't have to be all coach stuff. small accessories are cool- use creativity with the rest! get to KNOW the person!
-you can always choose to go over the price limit, if you wish. but jsut realize the person who has you may not be able to do teh same.
-if you commit to this, i am trusting that you will stay involved the entire time. if someone flakes out, i'm sorry.

1. The value of this exchange is about $100, total (including shipping). You are more than welcome to spend more, but that is your choice. We are starting off at a lower limit until we see how this goes. This is an easy amount for most people to come up with and a good price for a trial run of this! If you cannot commit to this amount, please wait until the next round.
2. We'll be doing this until April 1. There are only TWO dates you need to be aware of (March 5 and March 26). At these dates, you need to have sent out a larger package to your buddy. The time in-between is when you can send cards or smaller little pick-me-ups (this is where that dollar section at Target comes in, lol!)
*note: items do NOT have to be Coach. At this price limit, that will be VERY difficult to do. if you're interested in Coach things, try the outlets (!) or eBay for small things. You can be creative!
3. Feel free to ask questions via Elfster. Get to know your buddy on tPF!
*once everybody is assigned a person, we can do some questionairre type things in this thread.
4. In the case of someone feeling hurt (for whatever reason), do NOT lash out on tPF. Whoever is sending to you is doing their best, please respect them. You can vent to me, but please refrain from making your frustration public information.
5. If, for any reason, you are unable to fulfill your requirements, contact me IMMEDIATELY and well figure something out. Backing out, in most cases, will prohibit you from participating in future exchanges (for the sake of fairness).
6. HAVE FUN and remember this isnt about going broke and finding expensive stuff for someone. Its used to cheer someone up if theyre down or to congratulate them, etc.
