Would u sell a Kelly for a Chanel?

I find a slouchy fun kelly 32 clemence to be way more casual than most Chanel flaps. I love my Chanel but I don't really use them except to nice restaurants and the occasional girls outting. Whereas my Hermes bags I use _every_ day; they (at least the ones I have) are way more functional to my really casual life.

I’ve been on a bit of a binge lately. Bought a Kelly 32 rouge vif ghw gorgeous plus a brand new Chanel medium flap. I feel that I need a 226 to finish my collection and not obsess anymore. U know- live my life?! I got a break even price from a reseller for my Kelly- but I feel I won’t find another like her for that price point (under $6k yr 2000 in Clemence and so beautiful). And 226 bags are becoming insanely popular now. What would u do?

I have a large Chanel collection and I would sell my reissue in a minute for a Kelly! Chanel prices do fall when “classic items” go out of style, case in point Jumbo Flaps can now be had for less then a medium on resellers. I’m so curious where you purchased your Kelly from?

I would sell the classic flap to get 226. These two kinda repeat in terms of size and style, but 226 is more chic imo and can be worn crossbody. Keep the Kelly!

Never! I love my Kelly and feel more comfortable carrying it out than any of my Chanel bags.

I don't like Kelly...in fact all Hermes bags do not appeal to me at all. I will not over buy bags though.

my chanels has been sitting in the close forgotten…I am not sure when I will be wearing them again. They are heavy for their size but does not fit much. Maybe for a fancy dinner out I might wear it. Otherwise, It is really bot as practical as the Kellys. ( or maybe I am just being Biased lol(

I would never sell a kelly for a Chanel.

We are the opposite. Kelly never ever appeal to me in every way and I am glad. Any way all my Chanels are preloved so new Chanels do not appeal to me as well.
