Still torn... The pear is definitely winning here! I don't know why, maybe it's because I've seen Elizabeth Taylor wearing a pear shaped (about 64 carats bigger than I am looking!) necklace and it makes me think it's more dressy... so confused!

The pear pendant necklace is very elegant and simple looking. As long as the pear is under 2 ct, the necklace can be everyday casual or dressy.

Between the two, I vote for the pear one. However, you should really try the soleste and the pear w/ yg to get a better sense. With jewelry, it is so hard to judge by the pictures.

It's $12,700 for a .94 Fancy Intense in the US - so probably add about $2K to that for Candadian prices. (insane I know!!)

I like the pear shape the best. Both are beautiful, but I think the pear is more well-suited for a pendant.
