The soleste with the diamonds and the platinum chain. The yellow gold with the yellow diamond is too much yellow for me. The shape also looks very 60's to me and I think that the cushion is much more classic.

Someone else said tha to me about the pear looking "like something her grandmother would have had" ... then added "that I would kill to inherit!" haha! But I know what you mean...
ugh this is tough. I think if you plan on buying a cushion ring sometime in the future i would avoid being too matchy matchy with the cushion pendant. Tear drop is so unique and I think would be perfect for a pendant. I also think that tear drop works well with colored stones.
I think you need to try on the pendants in person! Even though I have the soleste ring, I am not a big fan of the soleste pendant. It sits funny on me and I feel the color of the center diamond gets lost in the halo against my skin. I have also tried on the pendant in both plain platinum (no halo or diamonds) + yg and just yg and I vastly preferred the yg + pt combination since the white metal made the yellow diamond and yg pop more. However, the all yg setting was also very beautiful and brought out the yellow in the diamond. Tough choice, but again, I think it depends on what looks best on you. . .
The only problem is I can't try on the pear with diamonds as it would be a one of a kind. I've never tried on the pear shaped bezet style ones before because I really love the white diamond combo but I might try to run to Yorkdale tomorrow and see if I can try one on just to see what I think of the shape on me. I really loved the way the soleste sat on my collarbone - more than I thought I would! But I'm pretty sure I'd love the pear just as much!!!

Yeah, I think you should try on the bezet one so you can either consider it or rule it out and just focus on whether you want cushion and double diamond halo or pear and single diamond halo. Otherwise you have three + pendants going on, which will just muddle your decision making 
If the pear ended up being $5k more I'd get the cushion! LOL and save the $5k for something else! I can do a lot with $5k! But then the pear is one of a kind . . .and I haven't seen anything like it at any other Tiffany & Co store. It's truly an amazing piece!

i vote for the pear too, i think it looks more feminine as a pendant.
if it was 5k more, i'd probably check to see if i could get one elsewhere (if it didn't HAVE to be a Tiffany) or just bite the bullet and buy it bc i know i would regret it if i "settled"

I vote for the pear! Love the yellow pear diamond. I've been eyeing it since the day it was released. Having a halo of diamonds around it will make it even lovelier!

Oh no, I'm only considering the soleste or the custom pear-with-single-row of diamonds on a platinum chain... but because it doesn't exist I might try on the pear YG ones just to see how I like the shape on me! Thank God I have it narrowed down to just 2!!!
