I like LL but a lot of times I don't feel the quality is worth the price tag IMHO. Besides Nike, I love GAPFit items. They're very comfortable, sturdy (mine lasted through so many washes) and stylish. Price point is great and as we all know GAP runs promos literally every other day. Only thing is the tops tend to run a little bigger, not enough to go down a size but just FYI.

Reporting on Ellie!

I bought 2 pairs of leggings - one My New Obsession and a Kiss Me Capri.

They are thinner than Lulu, but seem to be the same fabric (or close) as the Grooves. The butt doesn't look quite as good as mine does in Lulu, and I don't like the waistband on the Obsessions.

However, I DO like:

The lines on the Obsessions, very flattering.
The waistband on Kiss Me.
The price difference.

The other problem seemed to be problems with the website. I got double billed. They did, however resolve it and the customer service was good. The President's Day sale pushed my order into backorder and I had to wait a while. However, I feel like those kinks will get ironed out (I have a soft spot for startups).

I bought a pair of Ellie "heartbreaker capris" with the president's day sale code just because I was curious about the brand. I am happy with the capris for the price I paid for them which was like $29.00 The fabric seems stiffer to me that the lululemon wunder under capris. The seams also feel stiff. But you know, they were only $29 and actually are pretty flattering on. They felt comfortable during my piloxing class where you squat alot and frequently have your butt out. There is a small snag on my left leg which has not happened with my wunder unders.
I have to agree about the website. It was frustrating to go through the questionnaire in order to register. The questionnaire crashed on me the first couple of times. Then when I bought the pants and submitted the order the little circle kept going around and around like it was processing and I never got that screen that confirmed my order. I wasn't sure if I had actually bought the pants until I got my email confirmation. Then my package was stuck in fedex limbo for about a week-the label appeared to have been printed and the info was sent to fedex but it wasn't picked up. I emailed customer service and they did not get back to me. Finally I put a screenshot of my fedex tracking and posted it on their facebook page. Someone responded to me right away on facebook and my package was sent out the next day.
Not sure if I'd buy again from Ellie unless they improve their website and work out the kinks they seem to have.

Wore the Kiss Me capris to do lifting and cardio intervals this AM. They held up well. They have a large tag like Lulu's with the care instructions on it. It looked so much like Lulu's that I went to just tear it out. Well, I'm lucky I didn't tear the fabric. It doesn't come off as easy as Lulu's tag does, stupid me just assumed.

But no problems with camel toe or falling off. So that's good.

I like some of the stuff from the GAP line too. I actually have two cotton hooded long vests that I purchase from the fit line last year on mega sale. Really cute too. I agree about the possible need for sizing down from other brands though. I troll through the clearance area for major sales on underwear and FIT stuff occasionally. I get a good deal sometimes.

Just wanted to mention in this thread the company called "The Girls" which I found after I saw an advertisement that claimed they were a favorite among celebrities. Being a sucker, I have the tummy control capris in black. I think these capris are better for hanging out in rather that working out bc they feel heavy. They are also higher waisted and the "tummy control" makes the waist feel thick. Price was $32 and I learned that celebrities like Kristin Cavallari probably don't need this tummy control. I don't have any other of their clothing-most of their stuff is pretty basic and they don't offer a big range of products.

I have 4 pcs of Mizuno running capris and 3 of them I've had for four years, the 4th pair two years. I wear them when I work out and I work out 5x a week. All of them are still intact. They are that durable.

I also purchased an Adidas track pants and they started falling apart after 1 wash. So I'm sticking with Mizuno.

I think I'm converted to Under Armour now. I bought the Fly By compression capris and they are fantastic. Also bought the charged cotton v-neck t-shirt and love it (good for working out and casual wear).

Although the staff at a local Lucy were really young I find that a lot of the prints and designs look more mature. Maybe I'm just too juvenile :p In any case, I have also given up trying to find anything there either.

:D LOL Nothing wrong with that, I love prints in workout clothing. Black, gray is great because it can go with anything but I love a cute outfit.

Nike makes cool things to wear every so often, but they sell out pretty quickly. By the time I see it, it has already disappeared in the size I need online, and I'm not passionate enough about workout gear to go running all over town to find something.

Full price Nike gear make my teeth hurt, but the clothes last. I have pieces I bought back when I wanted to start working out but did not. Today these are the pieces I work out now even though I wore them as regular items for years.

I make a beeline for the Nike outlet when they have the extra % off clearance which is a real sale IMO.

I bought a few UA stuff recently, looking forward to seeing how it works.

I like VSX stuff also. I live near a Victoria's Secret outlet and the store is always packed with their workout gear.

As far a LUCY goes, I've noticed that if you wait long enough stuff eventually goes on sale. Almost everything I've bought the last few months ended up on the sale page. So if you are ordering from LUCY, be patient and you won't have to pay full price.

I really like Gap Fit. Their items are very reasonably priced, considering they're always running promos and nearly everything eventually goes on sale. Their tops run a bit big though. I'm usually a medium in every other brand, but I wear a small at Gap.

I bought a racerback top and a pair of running shorts last summer. They've held up really nicely even after hundreds of washes. I ran nearly everyday, and my stuff still looks good. I also bought a half-zip hoodie for running a few months ago and it's very comfy. I would wear it even when not working out.

I've been intrigued by Lululemon, but can't get myself to cough up that much cash for clothes I'm going to sweat in & wash at least once per week.

So far I have mostly Gap Body clothes. I like wearing all black to work out ... I wear & wash them with no sympathy, and I have been really impressed by how they are holding up almost 2 years later.

I want to check out Under Armour. I like looking like an athlete when I work out, though--not like a Barbie or a cupcake. That's my context for what I pick. HTH!
