Rom Roth thank you for sharing! It does feel better to know this is the process and the SA are trying everything possible on our behalf.

I hope no one from H management is reading this even though you moved on.

I agree... although the info Rom.roths is sharing is truly fascinating, I really hope no one from H management sees it.

I was an intern at Hermes, and I am no longer in the company. That's the fact and if I said anything against the rule of the forum or false, I apologize for that. What I want to share is simply some experience.

Rom.roths, thanks so much for being willing to share with us! As much as I love reading insider info, I feel compelled to share with you what happened years ago to a young woman here on TPF. She was hired by her local H boutique and, in her excitement, made some posts in the H subforum. Somehow they found out about the posts - she was promptly fired and, if I recall correctly, feared a possible lawsuit. I can't remember the exact details but I felt horrible for that girl. She was sharing her love of H and trying to help her fellow TPFers by sharing info, but apparently that is against H policy. I know you are no longer with H, but I would hate for your posts to have any negative consequences.

Thank you so much for your caring, yes indeed we might have such a problem, but so far I've only share some interesting experience about my intern. And I didn't sign a confidential paper with Hermes as others might have. Anyway I will be careful in the future post.
Thanks

The situation varies from country to county, the one I am talking about the system in France.
We are only allowed one bag every year (Lindy Birkin Kelly Constance etc), 5 scarf every discount event, 2 belts.
And they would be all marked with our series number and a S letter for staff.
I've kept one piece of receipt that we bought one time last year, the price is sure as I told. The scarf is 85 euro, the Lindy is 1000 euro, CDC is 150 euro, the shoes are all only 10% of the original price.
And at the end of the collection, the salesmen at some shops(the shops except for Paris in France) are allowed to take one set of outfits( one top, one trousers, one shoes) for free from the previous collection.

How interesting!
Is that why they skipped letter S this year and went from R to T this year?
Thanks for sharing!

They can not buy the bags inside the shop stock, neither their family. But if a SA wants to have a bag for self use, either she can wait for the discount event with good price and staff letter on, or ask the shop manager and only with permit, they could buy at the same price as other clients. That doesn't happen a lot, as really the bags are too expensive for us, even with discount, not mention without discount.
The craft group(who make bags, not the SAs) in the company can make one bag for themselves each year but of course with special mark on the bag.

Are those special marked the shooting star?

Hello Rom.roths. I am new here and I wanted ask you If I buy some products from Hermes online.com and collect at a Hermes boutique, can SA also see all of my purchase history for Hermes online?
I have posted this question before but no one replied me yet. Thank you very much.

No we can not, but we can see what's contained in the order when it's delivered in the shop.

Hi rom.roths thanks for sharing your experience. Will the SAs in Paris be able to view my purchases from H boutiques in Europe including Switzerland if I used the same passport for all of them? Thanks very much

Rom.roth, I read the entire shooting star thread (it reads like a mystery soap opera). I'd like to know your thoughts on the shooting star and sales associate purchases overall. In your personal opinion would you recommend the purchase? Thank you in advance.

I don't know a lot about shooting star bags, sorry I can't help you. But I will fully recommend you to BUY only from shops even sometimes it seems frustrating
