will there still be sale if i go on the thursday before labor day weekend? or is that too early?

Hi! I used to live in Rockland County (where Woodbury is located) (very nice place to raise a family too) till 5 months ago (moved to Hawaii) 
it was 25mins away from my place and yes it was always worth the trip every time. Tons of designer outlets though always packed with tourists even in winter. I miss living in upstate NY but I can't complain living in HI would love to come and visit NY soon! I don't go there on black friday, labor day and etc cause it's always packed and traffic gets really bad. If you are planning to go on the holidays- go there real early!

It a actually located in Orange County
But still get to Woodbury earlier and avoid days when there is bad weather becuase this is an open mall and remember that they have tours buses stop here so it crazy crowded
thanks for the info. Thought it was still Rockland.dont worry i believe there will still be sales on thursday, maybe not as good as the sales over the weekend but still good regardless.
The best days to go during a holiday weekend is the first day it starts, just so you get the best selection. It is pure chaos and misery during holiday weekends because there are TONS of buses that bring in tourists and be ready to fight your way through crowds and stand on line to get into the popular stores like Coach, Tory Burch, Gucci, etc! I can't even handle those outlets on a normal weekend, so I only try to go on weekdays now! Like someone else said, weekends in general are packed so throw in a holiday with good sales, and its like shopping black friday or the day before Christmas!
I'll be in NYC this summer and I'm planning to stop by Woodbury Common. I thought there was a Chanel outlet but I don't see it on the Web site. I hope it didn't close!
