*hugs* I was thinking the same thing as the other poster. Allison is from kentucky and you are from new york and although there should be consistant hiring practices there isn't.
I never said this before but working downtown in a city...I honestly did not think I would get hired much less that quick! But it helped that my then manager at gap knew most of the managers at coach, the head manager of both downtown stores. She put in a good word for me.
Also I am a terrific seller as you are I am sure. But I didn't dress the part, if I wasn't already hired I am not sure I would have been! Our store has interviewed a lot of pple, even girls more polished, taller, etc. But they didn't get hired
Don't get me wrong, I deserve my job...I am just not sure if I would have gotten it if I didn't have a foot in the door kwim?
And honestly its a fun job but you cab get caught up and lose your priority so I am working less and focusing on school more...I hope
Don't worry, as far as coach goes its like any retail job and the pay is a bit above average but I am sure you'll move onto better things while that manager is still there ten years from now!
