usually if you ask for an interview when you turn your app in, you'll get an interview scheduled then, or they'll definitely note to call you the next day. The trick is asking for the job.

congratz! i went to coach the other day and the asst. manager told me to fill out an app and use her as a ref.

i wrote out my resume and cover letter --> will hand it in Mon.

I hope i have your luck ;) (even though we know it's not about luck)

Is your store all white or some other race?
Not trying to make it a race issue, but that's how it is in my store.
There's only one here and there is absolutely no diversity. And then the kicker is, they are super rude and don't even speak when you walk in or offer you help while you walk around.

I applied today and I don't expect to get a call back.

Hey girl listen dont worry about it , it is VERY hard to get a job @ coach n the city stores

I was talking to my friends who work @ the coach store, and they said it is very hard to get a job in the city @ coach they are super anal and picky about who they hire,

the woman i know comes from florida the guy from i forgot somewhere southern and both of them said it was pretty easy to get a job in those locations but very difficult here, only cause they had worked @ coach before did it work out but they have tons of qualified friends who havent been able to get jobs in the city :(

sucks for us i would love to work for them too but :(
alas i dont think i would ever get hired as i only have limited retail experience (claires for 2 years)....

:( thanks help!! slush!! it is the flagship store and i rarely feel welcome in there!! the manager i spoke to was a guy (he was a white/hispanic guy) he told me they were not hiring.. the other manager (african american older woman) told me they were and they would call me! but she hasnt! i think the white guy was the store manager... anyways in that store it is very rare that they are nice to me.. most of the time they dont know jack $#!T about the product or what they have in the store! i asked them for the binder with the new stuff in it, they said they dont have it.. went upstairs, it was sitting right on the counter!!

only 2 associates are nice to me and dont treat me like i m a money train

you know what i feel that way in almost every single one of the coach stores in the city,
i think in most of them the SAs are really snotty and stuck up and act like they are too good to talk to you unless you are buying $2000 worth of stuff

i feel like they ignore you if you doont come in in a business suit looking like $$ and i feel like they speak in a snotty i dont care way


The ONLY 2 stores i will go to now are the one in the time warner bldg they are nice :)
and the one in soho they are my loves!!!! i am friends with 3 of the SAs and the security guard wants to date me haha

but yea most of the stores in the city are really obnoxious and unwelcoming i hate it!

lol i was talking about the time warner one! only a couple of them are nice to me there! most of the time i dress up like a regular person, they dont say anything, but if i wear like my coach boots or the beret or something they comment and ask if i need help...

the one in soho the SAs are extremely nice to me!
