Two things - I like the skirt's sheer lace overlay which you don't notice first thing. Makes it really special.

I saw that too and remembered reading somewhere that Catherine has an allergy to horses. Those times where she's expected to be around horses she prepares with whatever it is that people take for allergies. It's understandable that she wants to limit her time in certain environments due to her health history. Whether that's the reason she bowed out of Ascot, IDK.
