Seeing how much Charles adored the both of them I feel this is a very lovely compliment.

the entire family has a very unhealthy relationship with the press and their structured system is not doing them any favors as a family.
Not sure I agree. I think the family in general has a firm grip on how the relationship with the press works and its not at all unhealthy. They know they are going to be covered by the press, no getting away from that reality. The King or Queen is the official head of state and would always be subject to press coverage, as would her/his heirs, and relatives to a lesser degree.
They also know they are of great interest to the British public and to others around the world. They know if they step out of line and behave poorly in public, it will likely end up in the papers. They understand the Royal Rota system. They understand that BP will do their best to publicize the events they attend and work to generate positive press and can try to mitigate damaging stories but, if the story is fundamentally true, well, not much can be done about it and you (the family member) better be prepared to pay the price in the press coverage.
But, if you do your job and do it with a smile, members of the family can live quietly and privately between public engagements. You rarely see tabloid snaps of Kate or Will or the children outside of official events. It's mostly regular folk who take those pics and post them to social media. I rarely see tabloid photos of off-duty Princess Anne, Prince Edward, Sophie, etc. I think we see photos of Eugenie and Jack and Bea and Edo because they are out and about on the town.
Nearly every senior BRF member has complained about the media and public scrutiny and spoken about how damaging it is to their lives and wellbeing... the others, like Camilla, we can SEE how intrusive and harmful it was to their lives. Yes it's a part of their lives, they understand how it works, and they "do it" but I would not call this a healthy relationship. If what Harry says is true about Wills and even Charles planting stories about other members just to deflect attention or grab attention, I don't think that's healthy for a family at all.

Several members of the British press, all of them household names, have come out publicly and passionately denied this, though.
We can't stand the way TW treats little Judas, and we are not related to him-it's embarrassing to the whole world of course William had a fit, and talking to stupid little Judas must have been so frustrating....I mentioned this in the other thread but just want to say that…
I actually like W more knowing that he wasn’t at all happy about M and her bullying behaviour. Or that he thought the beard is ugly/inappropriate (it is), and that he stood up for his wife... etc![]()
