Yes, let people say graceful things about you and not demand it-'no one asked me if I was ok'. What a sharp difference between TW and The Princess of Wales... so much class with her quiet movements. Never asking for the spotlight, but always getting it.
Delighted to read how the bells of Westminster Abbey tolled for 1 minute 32 seconds in a birthday tribute to the future Queen.
it’s nice to see the birthday pics of POW. I do remember when coverage was not so flattering, so she deserves the accolades, esp. now with the attacks on her character.
Just wanted to say that in the past several pages of discussion about the conflict between W & H, I think it’s unlikely that it played out the way H says. No one above seemed to mention that the whole thing started bc W called H on the phone to discuss the official complaints re Meghan’s lack of civility towards staff. H got upset and hung up on W. That’s why W had to go over to the cottage in person. I don’t see H opening the door and calmly discussing or offering tea. He was still upset that W didn’t believe M over the staff.
And, I believe another poster above mentioned that if W knocked him to the ground, H would have mentioned it in the Oprah interview. Instead, he has said recently that Meghan misled Oprah. . Same with the allegation that W encouraged H to dress in a Nazi costume. People in charge of investigating the incident at the time say that H never mentioned W. And, W was not going out with K during the colonial party.
