Will they no repair this ?

Hi All

So I brought a sunglasses case mm a year and 7 months ago and just seen that I have ready bad peeling/ chipping on the glaze and what I think it’s cracking if the canvas in the flap.

Below are all the pictures but am I right in thinking that if his is cracking they won’t repair it?

So sorry this happened. It really looks that the flap has cracks in the canvas and they aren’t able to fix it.

However, cracking shouldn’t happen at this point as you haven’t had the case that long. Take it in to your store. The case has probably been defective in the first place and you may get a replacement.

They will likely exchange.

They won’t repair because of canvas cracks, but as previous posters are saying it should not be happening at this point.... I would push for an exchange

I had similar cracking on my sunglasses pm case and they said they couldn't repair it and gave it back. No offer of exchange but I didn't press it because it is 2 years old. I have peeling on the glazing on the top of my azur mm sunglasses case with no cracking of canvas and they offered a store credit. I turned it down because I like the case too much to give it up. Your cracking is quite extensive so I hope they give you at least a store credit. Good luck!

So I took it in today. They looked over it and said it was a defect. They said (UK) that there rule for canvas cracking is 3 years and under that it is classed as a defect .They said the cracking was extensive on both the outside and inside of the case and it would complete crack over time . Without me saying anything they offered a store credit.. they no longer make this case so I couldn’t get a new one. They did say for me to check out the new Emilie case.
