Will LV add feet to one of their purses for you?

I have an Alma bag. Love, love LOVE it! One thing kind of has bothered me though. I wish it had little brass feet on the leather bottom. I was a bit surprised that it didn't when my husband got it for me but I figured it was no big deal.

Well, after using the bag, I have decided if Louis Vuitton would do it, I'd like to have brass feet added to the bottom. Do they do this? Has anyone ever had it done or asked them about it? Please share. I'd like input here before I make the inevitable phone call.

it never hurts to ask.... actually i wouldnt' mind if feet were on the bottom of the alma either. let us know what they say

I asked about it when I almost bought an Alma. They won't do it, and if you have it done it will nullify any warranties on the bag. Silly to me that the Alma doesn't have feet.

No but a leather/show repair shop can add feet for you.

If it's out of warranty anyway, just have a shoe repair shop add it for you. Or you could probably even do it yourself if you go to a hardware store or craft store.

Thanks for the input so far! I'm the kind of person who just HAS to ask (even if y'all say "nope") . I'll share what I'm told.

How odd is it that this style doesn't have nice brass feet, right? It's funny how the knock-offs often have feet!

I have a saddler who could probably do it for me but I would only have it done by LV.
