Here is our own "fashionistas on the street" bal shots of tPF girls kicking up their heels in Chicago. This was posted in the regular Balenciaga thread but since we're all about jackets here I couldn't resist. Trust me it was a treat for Brunettetiger, Divnanata and myself to wear our Balenciaga's on our backs and off our shoulders!!! The weather was crispyly divine!!

OH you Ladies look so beautiful in your jackets;) The jacket brings a smile on my face everytime I wear it and you also look so happy and stunning in your jackets:nuts:
Looks like you had a fun time:smile1:

I wanna meet you guys next time too!!!! You all look fab and your Bal jackets too!!
BTW...I bought a RO jacket about 6 weeks ago and I LOVE this jacket! It's perfect for the not so cold weather, fits perfect and is so cool looking on. It makes any outfit look great!!! I bought a black in the blistered leather. I think it was the last one in my size anywhere. I would love a grey one also.

I miss wearing my jackets!!! :(

^^^^ Cool look, I love the jacket and the bag! :D

**Caution, OT rant coming up**

.....but as a long-time Pilates instructor I gotta vent about young women's posture these days.....
I have seen this " round-shouldered, forward head " pose in many photos lately, on the red-carpet and in ads ( Miley Sirus is a good example of very poor posture)
I see my DD also standing like this, it drives me crazy!
I do understand that young women ( like my DD ) are a little self-conscious about their bodies, and it is also a very "protective" posture......

BUT.....

Besides the fact that I do not think it looks very attractive, the forward head/rounded shoulders puts alot of pressure on C5 vertebrae, and also stretches out the muscles (Traps/Rhomboids) in the Upper Back, so that pressure is out on the low back, which can lead to pain.....

We Women need to STAND TALL and PROUD.....:ghi5:
Shoulders back, Chin up, Abdominals in.....

Phew, thanks for letting me vent, I feel so much better....;)
( My DD gets this lecture almost daily, and tho it is rather like talking to a brick wall, I will not give up! )

OR??? Is this beautiful young model trying to slouch like her fabulous Bbag?? Ha Ha!

OR?? is her BMoto too small across the back making her slouch!!:graucho:

Last!! Leslie you are right, it's just poor posture!! I hate it!!

Great rant, leslie. That is exactly why I got the size 42 (instead of 40) Bal moto jkt: because I did not want to be "squinched" into a too-small coat that makes you pitch forward. The looser one makes me feel straight, tall, and proud to have one!! I wore a Milwaukee back brace when I was a tween, and although it was a hellish two years, but it did make me have great posture. I took Pilates instruction at Robert Seed Studios on 55th St. in Manhattan in the late 70's - best thing I ever learned. And guess who my pal there was? Jessica Lange!! She had just been given a starring role as an "unknown" in the remake of King Kong which also starred - heartthrob - JEFF BRIDGES.

I totally agree with you...we should all stand tall & proud whether we are 5' or 5'10". Your daughter will get it one day!!
