initialed, asherbean, Thank you! I am size 2 US and 6-8 UK. I am very small and I tried on size 34 at bal store and fits me perfect before found my black one but I wanted Black one so decided to buy this 36 and It looks a little bigger on me. Black jackets are all sold out at Balenciaga Japan that I was told and only few Kahkis and some Browns are left.
Regarding to the mesurement of my Jacket : Jacket length is 53cm long, shoulder is 37cm, chest size is 80cm, sleeve length 68cm. My jacket is from 2008 AW. I dont think they change any size but just in case, I suggest you to ask the proper mesurement before purchasing.（＾ｖ＾）

i guess the inconsistency has to do with the fact that we're all shaped differently. some of us are broader across the shoulders, some smaller, then there is the boobie issue, which throws a whole new dimension in the whole thing.

i'll post the measurements once i get it and hopefully that will help. i'd like to be able to close it, even if it's super tight, only because for that price, i should have the option to wear it closed, even though i love how it looks open. and i have non-existent boobs (34A/32B), so the smooshy boob problem shouldn't be an issue for me!

^^ it sounds like with your size, you should definitely be able to close the 38. me being bigger than you and getting the same size is not looking good though for me.

Yes, this jacket is very strechable. as you wear it the leather streches. I can zip up all the way to the top. Very warm!

I did try on 34. I was told that 34 is avalble in Japanese market but I believe I saw 34 somewherelse before. 34 is smallest.
