I think you can find online calculators that will give you a duty tax quote based on the price of the item and where it's being shipped from/to. If I'm not mistaken, couriers like UPS/FedEx sometimes have these on their website. Just do a search for it.

I am on the waiting list for the January shipment. the more I think about it, the more I think I will like it with the brass zippers. we'll see!

I was so exited yesterday :happydance: I've forgot that I've paid the duty tax when I got the bag from Italy, it was about 10%.
The weird thing that my Master Cards have rejected this transaction,so I have had to pay with Amex of my husband. oh la la!
I've only asked him if I can use his Amex....:broom:

1.He doesn't know how much I've paid :shocked:
2.He'll kill me when he'll see the statement :noggin:
3.I AM HAPPY.:sunshine:
what is most important thing? Sure the third one=)

good morning thread! And now, I'm scared again by what asherbean said on the sizing. Why is there no consistency here?! does it run really small? will it stretch? Don't you size down for a leather jacket??

it depends on the maker. the SCP SA told me they run really really small. thats why I'm thinking about going out there today or tomorrow to try it on. I will let you know.
the sizing chart on the BAL website has all the measurements there, down to your biceps. I got some "guns" (because of the work I do! :D) and my bicpes alone were enough to make me go up a size. check out that size chart in more detail...

p.s. traditional motorcycle jackets do run large but thats because they are designed to ride, not for fashion.

I think brass zippers will be beautiful! my current black leather jacket has brass. But, this is the picture that officially sold me! I believe this is the all black one, right?

I've found that this jacket is cut really small in the breast area.
I've tried size 40 ,I am 6/8US it were toooooo small for my breast,slightly tight in the waist,perfect in the shoulders,the sleeves were OK.

well, according to the sizing on the website, the 38 should fit me perfectly. BUt i want to be able to move in it, where a long sleeve, and zip it up if necessary.

Shoo, please let me know how it goes when u try it on. Obviously, there's no point to me obsessing because I ordered it and I won't know til it comes. But If I am on the lookout for a 40, I'd like to know in advance.

So, would you go with the 42 then? Or do you think the 40 might loosen up and fit right?

Do you mind if i ask your bust size?
