OMG I was preoccupied for a few days and I totally missed this (and the original) hilarious post. Ladies, I think Roo mentioned in the original but let's not feed the troll. :) (AND I too have a graduate degree, have a great job and absolutely LOVE my LVs!!!)

Thy guy is a M.D. I only care to say that because I'm in medical school, and if after all these years of hell studying and busting my ass in the hospital some one called me a PhD, I'd shoot myself! I worked to earn the M.D. degree and status, not to be called a PhD. Just to clarify.
And lastly, I was a philosophy major in college (along with Biology), and I don't quite get your argument. It does not follow. Are you using deductive argument to reach your point/conclusion? Your use of doctors as a substitue in the initial argument does not warrant the same meaning. What is the point you're trying to make??

That's probably about the rudest and most demeaning thing I've read on this board. PhD, MD, JD, etc. all work equally as hard in different fields. Just because you feel you work harder than someone working towards their PhD does not mean that a PhD is a lesser degree anymore than a JD makes an MD a lesser degree. To borrow your words, I'd shoot myself if someone called me just an MD after 5-9 years of studying and 100+ page thesis.

Good lord, if that's what you think of PhD, I pity any nurse that has to work under you. Hopefully, you'll grow up in your last year and learn to respect and admire your colleagues no matter what letters come after their names.

i thought that the peice on seattle was expetionally funny.

I agree with the comments on Md. PHD.. who cares.. we all know that both work hard to get where they are..

Well, for all intensive porpoises, the LV hater's thread really does not pass mustard. I think the statue of limitations is up now and the wolf in cheap clothing has been outed. But I guess that is really a mute point, since we all know it's a doggy dog world out there and many people have deep seeded issues.

Maybe its a pigment of my imagination, but I would not venture to post about LV on this board unless I had all my ducks in the road. But that's just me. ;)

The End

Wow! Nine malapropisms (or should I say Dogberryisms?!) in one short post!

That's no mean feet!!! ;)

P.S. As this malapropism is only evident when written - does it truely qualify?
