Lots of Tom Ford on Posh, if you like him. I find that there are a lot of designer sunnies on Poshmark.

That's why if I'm spending decent money on eyewear, I'm going with an actual eyewear company like Mykita, Dita, or Matsuda. Most designer sunglasses are manufactured by one of a few companies like Luxottica. I like Persol, just because the brand itself is truly an eyewear brand (even though they too are now owned by Luxottica).
Ha! You are a gal "after my own heart" - I own at least 16 pairs of sunglasses presently (all designer), and I've sold a few pairs as well.. I think I have a little addiction going, but since one wears them on one's face every single day (well, at least I do, my eyes are pretty sensitive to light), I figure they're worth it! Presently in my collection are:. Celine, Balenciaga, Dior, Chanel, Gucci, Versace, Prada, Roberto Cavali andI have roughly 30 pairs of sunglasses. .

Kenzo and I love them all! I sold a Gucci and a Proenza Schouler last year because I just never reached for them in "light" (pun intended) of all the others. #Obsession!!!
I do think they are all well made (better than the rest of the marketplace), and they invest more in actual style, aesthetically speaking.. most of the time the designer sunglasses appear to be composed of sturdier materials as well.
I have sensitive eyes too, I thought I was the only one!
I don't buy sunglasses often I just never get rid of them once I get them, haha!
Well said! Yes, mood plays a role in my choices as well!I live in FL, nice sunglasses are a must. My contacts also make my eyes more sensitive to the sun. I feel like sunglasses are like bags. I switch them up based on my mood or what I’m wearing. I love that my designer sunglasses hold up well and how nice they look compared to cheap ones.
I have only four pairs of sunglasses:
1. A Gucci pair which has lasted me years and years (probably at least 10 years at this point)
2. The foldable Ray-Ban wayfarers - which I purchased to place in my smaller bags
3. The Prada Baroque - I regret this. I used to think they looked cool, now they just look dated
4. Gentle Monster - I went to Seoul and all my girl friends bought one so I got curious and bought one for myself. They're great!
To be honest, my favorite pair are the Raybans because they're so convenient to stash in my bags. The Gucci one looks the best on me though, I really wish I had kept the receipt and the papers it came with so I can find the style. It's the perfect style for my face shape.
I think designer sunnies are hit or miss. I liked my Gucci and regretted my Prada. At the end of the day, it's the design and the fit on your face which is important, labels be damned.
Too many?Ive started collection sunglasses that I have thrifted..its like a little game to see what I can find. I would never get the opportunity to buy them new.
Lately Ive found Tom Ford , Michael Kors for the grand total of NZ$7.
But over the last few years Ive found Fendi , John Galliano , Lacoste, Emporio Armani and a few other lesser known brands from NZ that turned out to be a bit pricey.
Ive found better sunglasses and clothing from thrifting then buying instore. And as such I look after them. The chances of me getting another pair at those prices is very slim.
