I was organizing my closet the other day and I remembered I have this patent grey YSL Downtown I haven’t used in a while. Well it used to be grey. Now it’s discolored to some sort of army green shade in some spots. I thought of selling it many times. Or having it recolored to black. As I was inspecting the bag, trying to get a feel if it “sparks joy”, I noticed the snaps on the bottom of the bag. The ones on the bottom don’t snap together. But the one on the outside pocket does, I discovered! I unzipped the side zippers on the outside pocket and pulled down the flap to connect to the bottom snap. And what do you know! The bag turned into a new bag! It looked moto-ish to me. One thing I don’t like with the Downtown is that it’s too deep and the base is so wide. But when I “folded” it, that issue was resolved.
