Reebonz has been marketing themselves as selling authentic items (but i had a chanel bag w certification from etinceler but no hologram that was rejected by them) so i thought they were really strict with their criteria. This shall serve as a warning and better for us to use a reputable authenticator before hitting that purchase button..!

You purchased in on 26/12/17 which is Sunday and is not counted. There is some processing time the bag to be packaged and shipped ( usually 1-3 days) but lets say they processed the order in the first working day- monday and shipped it in the same day. So in two full days and half ( on the third day was already in the Hermes store) order was processed, packaged and shipped by Brandoff Honk Kong and you got it and drop it to Hermes store on 29/12/17. I'm not aware whether the bag have to pass trough Reebonz inspection first before you get it but in this time of the year all packages are slower due of high volume.

Thanks for sharing OP! I can’t imagine what a nerve wrecking situation that must have been, hope you get your refund back soon! Reebonz has a pretty solid reputation due to their branding and I’ve personally bought a few non H luxury items. However, I’ve heard horror stories abt their H Items being non authentic from other threads and after hearing your story, tbh my confidence is pretty shaken even if this situation resolves nicely for you, imagine having to go through all that mental stress just to get your money back!

IMO this could be a franchise and Managment issue. You purchased from Reebonz Australia who sourced from Brandoff HK both not the country of origins of these companies.Maybe their quality control and internal regulations are not as stringent as the main offices back in the countries of origin? Anyway just my 2 cents worth!

I bought an hermes birkin bag from Reebonz who I thought was a well reputed store but to be doubly sure I sent it into hermes for a repair and after many months hermes emailed stating that it fake. Well their wording is 'it's not made by Hermes Paris' and they have confiscated the bag but will be forwarding a letter of some sort explaining the situation to me.

So to all out there, be careful when purchasing because even ostensibly 'well reputed' stores sell fakes so always send your stuff into the actual sttore if you can to authenticate!

I’m very sorry this happened to you, but you should always get Hermes authenticated by Bababebi. You’re paying too much to trust where these bags are coming from. The only safe bet of course is to buy from the boutique if you can.

Your message isn't clear but I assume you are implying doubt regarding the speed of delivery? It's not impossible. I've had an item delivered internationally in 2 days: hit BIN on Thursday morning, item shipped same day, arrived in my country on Friday, delivered to my home on Saturday morning. It was from a Japanese reseller chain similar to Brandoff.

Listing says estimated delivery 6-10 days.
Ok I will not post anymore here. I just will wait to see that letter from Hermes with PICTURES as proof.

I’m going to open my mouth again...I, for one, want to see how this all turns out. At the rate we are going this thread is going to be mothballed and not a single one of us are going to know the outcome. I’ve shot my mouth off early in the thread, and I should’ve waited until I had all the facts. I suggest we all sit back and keep it cute and civil until we hear the whole thing.

Thinking alike, this tread is getting too hot for me. Taking one step back, waiting for the documentation from Hermès and feeling this bag reselling business is never going to be my cup of tea.

Did you have this item authenticated before returning? This bottle model from Cruise 2014 is not supposed to come with a hologram sticker, or authenticity card. It has a very small oval authenticity stamp, like the ones you see on Chanel's costume jewelry. It's pretty well hidden and you can only see it when you open the bottle/bag. It's located by the female part of the push lock closure. It's very small and easily missed. So if you were looking for a hologram sticker and CHANEL MADE IN stamp that you would normally see in bags, it's a good thing you couldn't find any. You weren't supposed to.
