Managed to steal mom’s ring for a close look today, she says she bought it in Paris 27 years ago and despite all the micro scratches and never being cleaned (I chastised her for this & going to drag her to the boutique for a cleaning haha) it still shines very bright and white.. I was shook. Of course there was grime on the inside of the ring and around some of the small nooks and crannies but you have to look really close to see. She does not baby this ring at all and wears it almost daily. I bet this baby would look even better after being cleaned. Proof that we should enjoy our bling to the fullest!!

Honestly I don’t know if she remembered her timing correctly, first she told me it was 14-15 years and then later she said it was 27 years, but regardless from my memory I do believe she’s been wearing it daily for at least 14-15 years. Perhaps she just meant that the ring is quite old :biggrin: Even so it still looks really good for a 14-15 year old ring worn almost daily!

So great to see how well this ring stood the test of time and use @tenshix and yes please, I always say no one is guaranteed a tomorrow so wear the bling already :biggrin:

still very beautiful. after polish/cleaning, it will look as good as new!
