Rarely. Though on occasion I feel like it. I have a RG hammered, blue agate, onyx and YG that work together. But I seldom wear them. The pendant i wear most is is a RG chain with a solitaire.

Could i also ask, is there a reason why you didnt go for the Perlee clover bracelet? Its like on and off my wishlist, the sweet clover perlee. The biggest thing is i dont like the in between mirrorrored finish that wld attract fingerprint marks or dust easily. Also, the clasps has some white gold portion and i prefer full YG

Also, cld i ask abt the chalcedony, does it easily get that dirty murky perimeter or marks on the stone like carnelian and onyx? Thats one thing putting me off getting the yg onyx or carnelian bracelet. I find this less obvious on MOP stone

I prefer all one thing or the other. The clover is half and half. Some shiny metal, some diamond design. Also, when I tried it on, I felt like I saw an outline of grime around each clover. Mentally I know it’s not. It’s probably the slight shadow of the raised edge but that’s what my twisted mind tells me. The single row diamond perlee is more me because it’s a cleaner simpler look. And my eyes can focus on the icy fiery diamonds. Other people dislike it for this reason, that it looks generic and any designer can make it. People may not wanna pay that price when a little more will get you the clover, a piece that is iconically VCA.

Because of the pattern on chalcedony motifs, dirt is more obscured. Once on the wrist I don’t notice the dirt on the onyx or carnelian. Strange.

Yes exactly! You have pointed out all the reasons why both the perlee clover and single row perlee has gotten on and fallen off my wishlist lol! I guess my pickiness or quirks is saving my wallet somehow. I love the design of both bracelets very much but i know why i personally cannot get them. :( i realise i dont really like mirrored finishes, eg frivole unless it is paved.

The only small issue i have with my pave onyx bracelet is the onyx gets some "oily" specks easily , the look of it. Probably because my climate is humid so likely its sweat or something. It goes off the moment i wash it with soap and water but that means i have to keep washing it. I think i have learnt to ignore it, but sometimes it "nags" at me.

I m slightly tempted to get chalcedony , but could i ask if you know whether the white gold is rhodium plated on this? If the white gold chain is as shiny as the pave onyx piece? The WG mop bracelet i had doesnt seem to be rhodium plated. I can see a clear difference btw the wg chain on the mop vs my onyx pave, thats one of the biggest reason why i chose to let the mop piece go.

All VCA white gold is rhodium plated. It’s possible your older MOP bracelet just needed a good cleaning as I thought my old 6 motif sweet pavè was also more grey/yellowish compared to when I first got my chalcedony bracelet. I thought it needed a replating but then I sent it in for a cleaning at the boutique and it came back sparkling white again, no difference with my brand new WG chalcedony.

The fingerprints and oil marks on onyx is one of the reasons why the stone will never work for me even though I like seeing it on others; these kinds of marks are more obvious to my eyes and bothers me. It is not obvious with chalcedony or WMOP since the stone is more pale. I do see the marks on blue agate and GMOP but it’s still not as obvious as onyx IMO.

I thought so too and i did send it for cleaning at VCA but still, it looks way duller (granted it is around abt 2.5 yrs old) but i didnt like that..
Yup because of this, i decided no carnelian and no more onyx.. because mine only has 3 onyx stones, i could kind of accept it. I jus tend to want to clean the bracelet after every use and now, thinking if i have chalcedony to rotate with, i can rotate between both. >.<

Gonna slowly think about it.. as i am torn as to whether i shld get another 5 motif in WG or get a YG one to replace the YG guilloche bracelet which i have sold too.. while i love the look of YG MOP, i prefer crystals which can go into the water and be washed nowadays.

Yup fully agree with @tenshix. Definitely all rhodium plated.
