White dot on authenticity Card

I don't know but my mom has a bag from 1997 (I think or around there) and hers is authentic and I believe her card does not have it

Thanks. I believe I read somewhere here that the white dot started with the 10 series bags but a friend of mine is thinking of buying a bag with a number that starts with 7 and the card has a white dot. I'd post pics but I don't have any, am just trying to help a friend out.

I believe Chanel started to use the white dot on the late 5 series authenticity cards, so from the end of the 90's. From the 6 series up until now the authenticity card should come with a white dot.
