I would go for the poppy over the fish (don't really care for the fish), and then I would go with the leather framed wristlet over the signature. I love the framed wristlets, they are great as clutches and look really nice. I have never had a problem with the opening or kiss-lock.

But I also like the suggestion of the framed wristlets at the outlet -- cheaper and if a lighter leather, could be used year-round. As much as I like the poppy, not sure that it would work in the dead of winter. :smile1:

I agree. I don't like the fish or poppy at all (that's just my opinion - we don't all have to like the same things!). :-)

From what you've said OP, it sounds like $ is an issue when looking at the $50 more for the leather one. (Not saying this in a bad way, $ is an issue for me too and I can't afford to buy anything I like - I'm a bargain shopper.) So, from that perspective, something classic WILL last you longer. That's why earlier I said in a year you may not like either the poppy or fish anymore, or at least be sick of carrying it. I have classic items that I go back to year after year that I love and don't go out of style.

If you have a budget that lets you buy whatever you want, then get what you like best. If you are like me and have to be more careful in what you spend, I say invest in a classic piece that you love and will enjoy for years.

If you want a framed wristlet, as someone else said, there are great ones, in cute colors at the outlets for good prices. I would personally go for a Legacy Stripe item or a leather one in a great color. I love color in my accessories. I have a great deep purple (aubergine) check book wallet & a bright pink mini wallet. I also got the Legacy stripe framed wristlet and it is gorgeous. The two wallets I got at the outlet for a steal and the wristlet I paid full price for.

I'm just not into putting fish or poppy's on my bags or wallets...these are fad items and tend to date themselves...IMO...I'd rather buy a basic leather or signature item...they tend to stay "in" longer...that's all I was trying to say.
