Which wallet would you get if you only use one for all your bags?

Helps a lot,Thx!!!!!! :amuse: One more quick question....What about putting the checkpad in the pocket behind the credit cards. The whole thing hidden in that pocket?? So if I needed to write a ck. (which isn't too often) I could pull it out from behind the credit cards (in that pocket). Does it fit there? If so, does it slip in easily (not to tight/awkward)??

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

I just put a whole pad of 25 checks with carbons in the pocket behind the credit cards. It fits, and the wallet snaps, but they're a little tight in there and it's a little bulky with the checks in there that way.

So...I guess it would be better to put them in the pocket behind the coin pouch (where you say you put your money)...When you did put the checks there (w/carbons: which is what I use)...did it fit good/easily, not tight or whatever..?

Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

I just tried it behind the coin pouch with a full pad of checks (the first time I tried it this morning, I used a pad of checks that wasn't completely full) and it fits and snaps, but it's kind of a bit of a "reach" to get it to snap. Truly, the best way to put checks in the PTI is to put the cardboard backing in the pocket behind the CC slots and let the checks hang over the CCs.

I have a seperate check cover, and just the cover is tucked behind the c/c slots as in this pic.

It would be tight in the wallet because its new. the wallet will stretch :)

that is basically how my is/was, just in a seperate cover.

I dont use check so i dont really worry about, I just had it in there for show:)

You're welcome! I'm two hours away from an LV boutique, so I know it helps to completely envision how something will work for you if you can't get in to look at it before buying it.

Ya, it's nice to try and get an idea of how could/would work. See...I am returning my damier speedy 30 (that's another story...LOL, it's on the damier failure thread)...

Neways...I have the Ludlow wallet, and was thinking..."hmm, maybe I should get a wallet." My ludlow was getting a bit thick. But then this afternoon I cleaned it out and now it's much much better!

My original plan was to get a ckbk cover in mono, and a mono cles. Then I thought perhaps a wallet. Now,...I'm thinking of the Pop H. I always thought it was so cute, and actually when I bought my BH (which is a fav of mine!!!!!!) I was torn between the bh and the pop H.

So maybe the Pop H and the ckbk cover in mono.

So..we'll see what happens I guess. LOL, after all this investigating etc. watch me walk out with something entirely different. Ugh! heehee....LV decisions...<sigh> Thx again!!!!!!!

Sounds like a plan. I've been thinking of getting a checkbook cover myself.

How about the Damier Zippy Organizer for $580 USD? It's a good all-in-one wallet. Here's a description of its features:

Twelve credit card slots
Zipped pocket for coins
Flat pocket for bills
Two large gusseted compartments for papers and passport
Checkbook or plane ticket holder
Leather pen holder fits LV agenda pen

And here's a jpeg of it from E-luxury:

Do you own this wallet?

Throughout my trekking through Europe, I've been followed by my faithful MC cles mono cles combo. Mono holds my cards, and MC holds cash and change. It's been really good, and it's not bulky at all - plus if you go out for the night, you just clip it onto your jeans !

I have the Porte Valeurs Organizer and I absolutely love it. I just got it heat stamped.

You can put a checkbook in it and it will not look bulky. It's convenient for traveling because you can just stick the sleeve of your passport in there and put your boarding pass/baggage claims tickets where you would usually put your cash.
