Which style in Peony?

I love my Rogues; I have all three sizes. I’ve always hand/arm carried them but for some reason I wore the Steel Blue as a shoulder bag for two weeks and preferred it that way. I always wear my 36 as a shoulder bag and always hand carry the 25 size. I like that the regular size is fully functional both ways.

I really only like the 1941 line; I like the styling, the discreet branding and the quality. I think I’m going to get the Plain Dinky in Peony. I’m going on a cruise and it has the leather strap I prefer.

Well....an SA at one of the local stores was a bad influence. She was sending me pictures of the Peony Rogue today. I wasn't going to have a chance to stop in again for a while so she's shipping one to me. At least I can have it at home and look at it with my wardrobe and in natural light. I do think it's pretty
I think u will love it!!

The rogue isn't as heavy as it is fussy/not functional. I don't really know how the handles are supposed to lay and they are awkward when trying to retrieve items out of the openside of the flap. I also find the strap drop to be a tad too short for me. Otherwise it's a nice bag, just not for "me".

I don't find the Edie noisy, but the metal Coach fob is looped around the chain strap and not attached to any part of the bag. So when you put it down it tends to shift/move among the strap. I really enjoy the functionality of the Edie. Very easy to wear for a medium size bag that doesn't seem too big. Can't wait to see your update on what you finally decide!

I'm totally with you PurseUOut. I was so excited to get a Rogue but after some test carrying around home I put it back in its box to be returned. The way those hard handles flopped around made me nuts! Now waiting on an Edie 28 which I think will be much more practical. Hopefully the leather isn’t too much lower quality than the 1941 line.

I decided to pass on the Peony Dinky after seeing it in person. It’s burnished and quite similar in colour to my Soho in Melon.

I like the brighter shade used for the Rogues much better, but I don’t need ANY more in that style. .

Rogue is definitely heavier than Edie. It's a well made bag but heavy in my opinion.
Thanks. I love the look of the Rogues, but I just can't carry heavy bags anymore. I love the 17 I got so much that I wanted to get one big enough to be my "regular" bag, but it sounds like it wouldn't work out. Oh well, luckily there are so many other beautiful bags. :)

Here it is at home. Thinking.....
I think the peony color looks spectacular against your skin tone. Do you think you might be happier with the peony Rogue in 25? Is that why (and what) you are thinking? That peony color pops when paired with your black shirt and jeans, too.

I think the Rogue has a classic styling that makes one look "in charge." That is why I gravitate toward it. While I usually wear larger bags, I find I can wear the Rogue in the 25 (which I have in purple), as long as I do not try to stuff my little hair brush in it along with my wallet, eyeglass case, credit card case, keys and phone.

During F&F I broke down and bought the Peony Rogue 25. Now I've got 5 Rogue 25s and I love the style. The handles do get annoying a little sometimes, but overall I love the bag. There was a time that I never thought I would own a Rogue because I thought they were way out of my price range. Even on sale they can be spendy but I'm obviously over the cost now. If I am not wearing a bulky coat I can shoulder carry them but I don't always. I do think it is a little heavier bag, but I usually like a little substance to my bags (but still love the Dinkys as well which are very light especially if they have no embellishment). I remember seeing the Peony Rogue when it first came out and telling the SA that I would buy it if it ever came out in a 25. It did and I did! LOL
