Which stage of the patina do you like best?

I don't like the really really dark patina although I done have a bag that has done that yet I've seen pics.

The initial lighter color of my Speedy was great but I'm hoping my Man. GM gets darker sooner.

I like it when it's brand new and almost no patina. I don't like the middle stages or when it's orangy, but then I do like when its really dark.

as for me I like both or...when it is still almost white I want it to darken, and when it is darkened I yearn for the white again :weird:

I don't like the light color when you first buy it. I live in philly and they are many fake louis vuitton bags carrying around town. i recently bought a speedy bag and I refused to wear it unless it turns color. i let my lil sis carry around for me until then. today, i went browsing into the louis vuitton shop looking for a wallet but they didn't have my color and seen a waistbag so i bought it. i kinda complain to the SA and he told me to leave it in the sunlight so it'll turn color faster. thats what im doing.

I couldn't wait for my first LV to patina so I stupidly oiled it and now its quite dark-I long for the 'virginal' blanched look of a brand new LV and leave it alone, LOL:sad2:
