jp, I don't mean to enable you, but I feel it is my duty to do so...:graucho: I was skeptical about the durability and use of mousses, but let me tell you...three mousses later and I am hooked! (line and sinkered! LOVE THESE.) Oh, how they make me sing!!!!
When the right one comes your way, don't worry, IT will choose YOU! :D

Uh oh X 2! I have a couple of non-H chiffons and love how easy they tie and are all-weather. Guess I'm going to have to start saving for an H one now! :p

foxgal, Yes!! Come join us on the mousse side! So lights and airy! (as you already know with your chiffon scarves.) I love the way the pattern peeks through all of the layers. They are dreamy!!! :smile1:

Hi all – it's been so long since I've been able to follow this thread. It is so full of beautifulness! I just wanted to share what Wa'ko-ni looks like in a friendship knot. Love this scarf!

This is so beautiful, foxgal! First of all, congrats on tying one of the hardest knots to master! Second of all, your Wa'ko-ni is so fresh and colorful! The portrait and background are truly a piece of wearable art! The bonus is that contrast hem! You look great!!!

sparkle - oh my - how adorable the baby goats are! You must be thrilled DS spotted them and saved them from their harsh environs in their first few minutes in the world~thank you for posting their photos and for some uplifting moments to my day!

TT- fabulous losange for DH and I already am eyeing your CdG buys and having a hard time resisting! Can't wait to see you modeling these!

LadyB - you are totally chic in your Surprise silk. I love this one best of all, but adding another white silk to my collection would be positively greedy of me. I shall enjoy yours all the more.

Hsick - truly some super silks you are modeling for us this week! Love all your photos!

Work has been really demanding, sorry if my comments are brief. I think everyone is looking superb this week, and welcome to our new posters!

Some gorgeous 'feu' tulips arrived yesterday and I could not resist wearing the Quataris to match them. There are some shawls that eventually one might become less fond of. This one I love dearly because the horses are what brings my love of H to mind.

Lanit, Your Quataris is perfect in every way! The colors, motif..... I, too love the horses and the geometric "horse blanket" detailing of the border. Your tulips are the perfect addition to another lovely post!

Thank you, too, for the CDG love! I chuckled at your earlier post of how you worry about keeping the white parts of your silks, white! I fear the first sip of sangria will land front and center on my silk leaving me with a black/white and purple Cheval Surprise! :p

...and finally a pic!

I can't say this was the result of any specific enabling, so I shall just say I'm still in my 'green' phase. I dream of a Bal Moto, but live in a very comfortable Eileen Fisher wool; Etendards, here, or any other H substitute in my small collection, makes me feel just as special. Thanks again for letting me share!

textilegirl, This is one of my absolute FAVORITE pictures of you! You are a beautiful lady!! Look at that styling! Your to-die-for green Etendards is dreamy!!!

:hbeat::hbeat:

Ad? Sure, that would be great as would a 'reality' series...sorta like the BBC's Inside Claridges. I'd watch and take notes, too. I still like the idea of an Academy with lessons on everything H.

LadyB and all, you think of the most interesting and inspiring ideas! You give me hope...a million scarfie thanks :coolio::coolio:

BridesdeGala, Thank you!! I have to say that I am inspired daily by what I see here on the thread! You have been a part of that, too! So, THANK YOU!!!:smile1:

Hi, ladies! I've been a lurker lately but want to share some pictures of my Tous les Bateaux du Monde shawl, which I've been wearing a lot this week. I think I am twins with a couple of you on this colorway...

Congratulations on such a beauty! This gray and blue colorway is so versatile! Lovely looks, PoliticalGal!!!

Well sweets, it is tough with white, but worth it when it lights up the face and neck. I think you can simply fling the Surprise over your shoulder when drinking wine, or take the CdG approach to the fullest and let the stains fall where they may a la Graffiti. I chuckle about this scarf - in the years past, I secretly call it the 'Splat' silk - in a very fond way of course. The black and white is the only colorway that renders it 'artistic' in my mind:)

Thank you so much arabesques and textile ! The actual color of this shawl is called Cappucine. And the tulips are a warm orangey red, just like my shawl. Running now to take care of froufrou's request of it flat.

PG - you look fantastic and high fives dear twin! I think your combos really show off how versatile this shawl is. I even get goosebumps seeing the twill versions of it! And wait until you see the black version - it is stunning on!

I love calling it "Splat!" If I do spill on it accidentally, I will truly "Make it my own!" :p

So glad you gals love the name LOL! Here is the Le Chevaux Quataris for froufrou: my favorite ponies! :D

Lanit

Bless you for this, I'm in love .... The cappucine colour is so lovely and I adore cusp colours that verge on this or that. Cappucine are nasturtiums [I think] those fiery flowers with the enchanting round leaves so beloved by furry caterpillars .
The white horses are packed full of graceful energy and so lovely against the cappucine , and that fuschia border , just the icing on a delicious cake .

Thanks for sharing and enabling :smile1:
