Lol ;). Thank you. Luckily you won't have to turn green.. It's Essie's Where's My Chauffeur. I'll have to check out Chanel nouvelle vague. I didn't realize they had a turquoise. I hadn't seen it. I do have polishes from 15 years ago, like the original Vamp, Very Vamp, Metallic Vamp, Iridescent, etc. lol. And they're still good as new :).

Clever ! If you love turquoise- check out Estee Lauder's Pure Color 28 Teal Topaz (from last summer collection) - it's AMAZING !

Thankyou so much for the sweet words on the mousseline
Etoile,LadyBaga,Arabesques, and Maedi It's such fun when friends like you approve , you can be sure when I wear this here it will provoke a quick intake of breath , followed by 'I suppose it's from Hermes?'[ the word Hermes to be pronounced disdainfully with a long sibilant at the end!]
Here in the edgy innovative inner city area I live everyone looks like they've been dragged through a hedge backwards [ in a very planned way!!]
I sometimes look like a creature from another planet , Planet Orange :D
Mousselines rock~
As for H-ing up the neighborhood,,,well, keep agoing, you wear it well!
Harry Winston (the jeweler tdf) said it best:
“People will stare. Make it worth their while. ”

What better place to reside than Planet Orange? I LOVE BridesdeGala's
quote! So true that if they're gonna stare, make it worth their while! You, my dear, are a vision of beauty! (I only tell the truth!):smile1:

:woohoo::woohoo:

From now on, Chevre, Kelly, and Birkin will have extra meaning when I think them! Those little ones and their mama are so fortunate to have you for a caring mother. We just had a freezing, spitting storm last night and I had to run out to the field to fix things with the animals' water (pump malfunction—wearing a mousseline no less), but to give birth in that?! They look so very darling. I'm sure they're getting lots of cuddles.

O.k., arabesques, YOU get the glamour award for fixing a pump in the middle of a storm wearing an H mousseline! :worthy: Hermes should do an ad campaign featuring pierina and bienchen in H gloves pulling weeds; You in your mousseline fixing the pump; sparklelisab wearing a CDC and silk/cashmere shawl helping her mama goat give birth...
Talk about a great ad! The Real Women of Hermes!:D

No glamour award necessary, I assure you, Ladybaga. There was a storm that was WAY worse, and my mousseline was caught in the car door (unawares) and dragging along the highway at 70 mph in wet, nasty asphalt. I never could figure out what corner was manhandled so badly—there's not a sign on the scarf. Seriously. Mousseline is made of silken steel. It can be worn EVERYWHERE. :p

But I do like that ad concept! Let's submit. I want to see Sparklelisab swaddling the goats in CMS

Good to know that the mousse survived the storm! I love how you described it as "silken steel." (H needs to borrow that phrase from you!) I can still picture you in beautiful red lipstick fixing that pump. Sorry, it's just how I see it in my mind! :smile1:

You are so kind—I love what you see in your mind. I indeed had on the remnants of a Nars lipstick in Dragon. So, yep. Red. Me, red lips, mousseline, rain, and mud. That's an editorial.

This is such a poetic description - I love it. I usually try to avoid that people know about H and hope I can keep it that way.;)

Oh no arabesques... You may have just done me in with your story of mousseline's tenacity!! I've been eyeing a few and always worried that they're a bit too delicate... You have CHANGED my mind.. Uh oh!

Hi JP, I'm very happy to enable more mousseline love. I wear mine more than anything else and they are very hardy. It's time to dive in—and if you live in the northern hemisphere, this is the perfect time. They feel marvelous even in the heat of summer.

jp, I don't mean to enable you, but I feel it is my duty to do so...:graucho: I was skeptical about the durability and use of mousses, but let me tell you...three mousses later and I am hooked! (line and sinkered! LOVE THESE.) Oh, how they make me sing!!!!
When the right one comes your way, don't worry, IT will choose YOU! :D
