Pique Fleuri de Provence was love at first sight - this will be my favorite for the Spring time - all credits go to Ladybaga ,Israeli_Flava and Pierina ... never thought I'd be drooling over blue :)

& Concours D'Etriers in action .....

Oh Hermesick, you look amazing! Don't you just love how Concours drapes with the design?? Fabulous my dear!!

Is there anyone else out there who has fantasized about being part of a old-school Girl Group? In my next life, I want to come back as one of The Chiffons.... or The Shangri-Las.... or The Ronettes... or The Marvellettes... or The Shirelles... because THIS week is all about

This is Dedicated to the One I Love: I was inspired or enabled by...

The Shirelles, singers of the 1961 hit, "This is Dedicated to the One I Love." That hair! That eye-liner! Those dresses! Sign me up. :jrs:

Face it. We all owe a tremendous debt of gratitude for those who have come before us. I think all of us have had the experience of seeing another Purse Forum member wearing a certain scarf and thinking, I MUST HAVE THAT SCARF!!!! Now is the time to give a shout-out to everyone we've ever admired on these pages.

Let the Love-Fest begin! :hugs:

I just love your expressions froufrou - never heard that one before. I need to visit with you and PT and get up to speed on some of those fun slangs!

Lanit It's a quaint and old English expression usually used to describe genteel ladies reaction to anything too risquee .
t comes from Alice in Wonderland.

This is what Wikipedia has to say about it:

"The Mock Turtle speaks of a Drawling-master, "an old conger eel," that used to come once a week to teach "Drawling, Stretching, and Fainting in Coils." This is a reference to the art critic John Ruskin, who came once a week to the Liddell house to teach the children drawing, sketching, and painting in oils."

So I don't think it really means anything.

What a PERFECT phrase to use then in the context of Hermès. For all of us, falling in love with H was like falling down the rabbit hole of all rabbit holes!

:D

I actually wore my Coup de Fouet Tuesday, but I was reluctant to post it. I find that having this
beautiful piece of silk wrapped around my neck just doesn't do it justice.

I was never sure I liked this design until I saw your modeling picture below!

I loved the look so much I ordered it. Mine arrived today and I am so happy! Thanks for sharing.

Dear Sparklelisab, Ladybaga, Frou frou, JP and Lanit - thank you so much for your kind words ! I feel much better now, who else can support a H crazy person better than you can ? As Arabesques said - we are in the same rabbit hole !

Speaking about gratitude I need to thank TangoTosca - you awoke my interest in H again !

Ladybaga, IF and Pierina, your post's are my main color and pattern inspirations, Frou frou inspired me to buy the red Turandot and Seton is the absolut H guru...and I love Sparklelisab's, Maedi's and TT's posts too....

You always look amazing and Oh, how I adore the colors here. I died over a giant dip dye today but walked away..... Stunning etoile. "My" colors look great on you, my blue girl, grey girl, white girl....just hot in all!

sparkle, Thank you! Now wondering...did something come home with you?

Etoile de Mer Love how you wear this , simple and elegant letting the colour steal the show .
I find vibrant pinks difficult to imagine incorporating into my 'look' , here I can pick up clues and ideas !

Sending many thanks frou frou! Paridoxically, I love this one so much, I don't wear it often! :wondering

Inspired by pierina, our reigning queen of blues and greens :queen:, I'm wearing a pair of Jeu des Omnibus Twillys, with my green Lift pendant. Spring is in the air! And I'm continually inspired by the creativity, generosity, and thoughtfulness of all who post. Sending many thanks to everyone! :smile1:
