Happy Valentine's Day scarfies! I've just been trying to catch up, and of course have no hope of commenting individually on all of the wonderful action shots. You all look super!

There's no way for me to pick a favorite among my treasures, but here's one that, much to my surprise, wormed its way into my heart. I would not have identified 'blue' as one of 'my' colors, but the mesmerizing Blue Klein of my L'Arbre, paired with the reds and browns I am more attuned to made my jaw drop when I first saw it at the boutique. Love at first sight!

:hugs: and get well wishes to sparkle, maedi, pierina's DH, and anyone else who is under the weather.
textilegirl Klein blue Arbre is just amazing and you wear it elegantly as ever.
I hummed and hawed over this on myself at the time it was around, loved the shawl but on me ?
Interestingly I felt the same with blue CSMC but thought 'to h*** with it I love it and that's that' Now I'm slurping up blue to make up for lost time !

Debuting the giant Equateur.

Congratulations You have chosen well , this is gorgeous . So nice to have found a GM that goes from Winter to Summer like this, and I love how the interest is all in the pattern and details .
I hankered after the blue, bit it was way too strong for me and furthermore the detail was all golds and browns which didn't seem too interesting.

I'm staying warm and cozy on this chilly morning, wearing my Ex-Libris GM Dip Dye, in Fuchsia/Rouge Orange.

I love all my scarves, but this is at the top of my list. There really isn't a romantic story that goes along with it, but it was one of my first purchases in my boutique. The color, the size, the pattern, and the sumptuous dip dye fabric, all drew me in. Once I spotted it, I waited patiently to purchase it...ready to tackle anyone who tried to claim it ahead of me! :D Unfortunately, this scarf is so hard to capture in photos. It is a lovely tone-on-tone pattern in warm shades of pink, orange, and red. But for those of you who know my love of neutrals, this is clearly the brightest scarf in my collection!

Wishing all of you a wonderful Valentine's Day!
Etoile de Mer Love how you wear this , simple and elegant letting the colour steal the show .
I find vibrant pinks difficult to imagine incorporating into my 'look' , here I can pick up clues and ideas !

Oh I totally know what you mean... We're one in the same on that. In fact, my SA tends to ask, "do you want to wear it now?" And I give her this look and say "are you kidding me? You know me... I have to let it sit in the box for a while before I can wear it.." Lol ;). This last visit she asked me again, and then caught herself and said "oh wait, what am I crazy for asking.. (jp) can't wear it today! She has to wait!" Lol ;).

Same goes with purses and shoes, they sleep a while before they get taken out. :). Like the B I picked up last week.. She's going to be resting for a while! My DH said "you're going to DIE the first time you get it dirty". Lol ;)

Oh how I love to know their are others out there like me! I bought my HG Birkin 11 months ago and I took her out 6 times before I finally carried her. She nested in the closet for 6 months before I carried her.

Oh frou frou--revisit this idea from our lovely Etoile! You my dear, in your skinny jeans, white top and a vibrant pink will absolutely GLOW!! Such a vibrant look that brightens the skin, teeth, whites of eyes....

This made me smile to bits ,especially since my eyes are terribly pink today from cat allergy: our 22yr old is allowed to do whatever she wants , and at the moment that's sleeping on my pillow with her face next to mine ! That's OK but what with the fishy breath and the odd wet sneeze I wish DH would hurry home !

Lovely to 'hear' you on form again!

Pique Fleuri de Provence was love at first sight - this will be my favorite for the Spring time - all credits go to Ladybaga ,Israeli_Flava and Pierina ... never thought I'd be drooling over blue :)

Lanit It's a quaint and old English expression usually used to describe genteel ladies reaction to anything too risquee .
t comes from Alice in Wonderland.

This is what Wikipedia has to say about it:

"The Mock Turtle speaks of a Drawling-master, "an old conger eel," that used to come once a week to teach "Drawling, Stretching, and Fainting in Coils." This is a reference to the art critic John Ruskin, who came once a week to the Liddell house to teach the children drawing, sketching, and painting in oils."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alice's_Adventures_in_Wonderland

So I don't think it really means anything.

Absolutely crave worthy and gorgeously memorable all wrapped up into one beautiful post! AND, let me say that your Concours Etriers (spelling?) in yellow just lights up on the screen.
