textilegirl Klein blue Arbre is just amazing and you wear it elegantly as ever.Happy Valentine's Day scarfies! I've just been trying to catch up, and of course have no hope of commenting individually on all of the wonderful action shots. You all look super!
There's no way for me to pick a favorite among my treasures, but here's one that, much to my surprise, wormed its way into my heart. I would not have identified 'blue' as one of 'my' colors, but the mesmerizing Blue Klein of my L'Arbre, paired with the reds and browns I am more attuned to made my jaw drop when I first saw it at the boutique. Love at first sight!
and get well wishes to sparkle, maedi, pierina's DH, and anyone else who is under the weather.
Debuting the giant Equateur.
Etoile de Mer Love how you wear this , simple and elegant letting the colour steal the show .I'm staying warm and cozy on this chilly morning, wearing my Ex-Libris GM Dip Dye, in Fuchsia/Rouge Orange.![]()
I love all my scarves, but this is at the top of my list. There really isn't a romantic story that goes along with it, but it was one of my first purchases in my boutique. The color, the size, the pattern, and the sumptuous dip dye fabric, all drew me in. Once I spotted it, I waited patiently to purchase it...ready to tackle anyone who tried to claim it ahead of me!Unfortunately, this scarf is so hard to capture in photos. It is a lovely tone-on-tone pattern in warm shades of pink, orange, and red. But for those of you who know my love of neutrals, this is clearly the brightest scarf in my collection!
Wishing all of you a wonderful Valentine's Day!![]()
Oh I totally know what you mean... We're one in the same on that. In fact, my SA tends to ask, "do you want to wear it now?" And I give her this look and say "are you kidding me? You know me... I have to let it sit in the box for a while before I can wear it.." Lol. This last visit she asked me again, and then caught herself and said "oh wait, what am I crazy for asking.. (jp) can't wear it today! She has to wait!" Lol
.
Same goes with purses and shoes, they sleep a while before they get taken out.. Like the B I picked up last week.. She's going to be resting for a while! My DH said "you're going to DIE the first time you get it dirty". Lol

I find vibrant pinks difficult to imagine incorporating into my 'look' , here I can pick up clues and ideas !
Oh how I love to know their are others out there like me! I bought my HG Birkin 11 months ago and I took her out 6 times before I finally carried her. She nested in the closet for 6 months before I carried her.
Oh frou frou--revisit this idea from our lovely Etoile! You my dear, in your skinny jeans, white top and a vibrant pink will absolutely GLOW!! Such a vibrant look that brightens the skin, teeth, whites of eyes....

I just love your expressions froufrou - never heard that one before. I need to visit with you and PT and get up to speed on some of those fun slangs!
Lanit It's a quaint and old English expression usually used to describe genteel ladies reaction to anything too risquee .
t comes from Alice in Wonderland.
This is what Wikipedia has to say about it:
"The Mock Turtle speaks of a Drawling-master, "an old conger eel," that used to come once a week to teach "Drawling, Stretching, and Fainting in Coils." This is a reference to the art critic John Ruskin, who came once a week to the Liddell house to teach the children drawing, sketching, and painting in oils."

So I don't think it really means anything.
Both your shawls are gorgeous, Pique Fleurie so cool and fresh and Concours d'Etriers really glowing and youthful .Pique Fleuri de Provence was love at first sight - this will be my favorite for the Spring time - all credits go to Ladybaga ,Israeli_Flava and Pierina ... never thought I'd be drooling over blue
