Well, I've finally surgically removed the Bolduc... today was L'Atlantide, nothing fancy knotwise, just draped & tucked under my rainjacket. The weather here is drippy and moody.

Sheesh, I hate that I don't have a chance to visit tPF and this thread more frequently these days. So much gorgeousness from everyone--it's practically blinding! Who needs Vogue magazine when you have this thread???

MaiTai, what can I say? You're stunning, as ever.

margieb, your smile and new grandbaby are just captivating!

Laboheme, I love all the different ways you wear your Bolduc. The colors in your L'Atlantide are among my favorites. Beautiful!

Rose, you remain the queen of scarf style for me. But Tallulah! I just adore that picture.

irishlass, you look fabulous in your Legende Moghul. How can you get by with just one scarf? I better not let my DH hear about that or he'll say I don't need more than 1 either . . . Twinkie is a heart-stealer, for sure.

LiW-7 kids! You deserve a medal for sure. You look fabulous--so elegantly chic.

DiamondS-Are you sure you're not a model or celebrity? I love your look.

My apologies to anyone I've missed; as I said, all the gorgeousness is overwhelming my mind.

Today, I'm wearing the "People of the Wind" plisse scarf in the black colorway. My camera's batteries are charging so no pic right now.

Wow! So much action in this thread! I was in New York the first week of Feb and have been recovering from jetlag ever since. It appears traveling while 30 weeks pregnant is easy, but getting over jetlag is a completely different thing! (at least for me)

I am so inspired and you all look so fabulous with your scarves . That pic of Margie and the baby captured me completely. Adorable!

I did visit Hermes in NYC. During a snowstorm on Tuesday I trudged my way to the Madison Avenue store. First I sampled the fragrances and found I really liked Eau de Merveilleux. Will have to try it again! Then I looked at the scarves. I decided against the Please Check In and looked at the pochettes instead. I wanted a scarf I could wear with many different colors and outfits. The Ex-Libris pochette is really nice, but they only had it in more demanding colors. Then I saw this:

I was trying to decide between this and a pink one, and the SA helped me choose this, since this is easier to wear year round.
Does anyone know the proper name for this one? The tag says L'annee du rat, but that can't be right. The SA also clearly referred to this as the Year of the Ox scarf and it does look like an ox and not a rat ;)
The colorway is bleu, I guess, but under that the tag also has jean/ciel/caban.

I didn't find any gavroche rings. Apparently none were ordered for the US this year. The SA showed me quite many different ones. I took the horn one in the end as that was on my "buy someday" list anyway. I just thought it would be too big for the pochettes, but turns out I was wrong. And happily so! I simply love it !

Despite my mammoth post above, I'm still going to post a few more pics I took while playing with the horn scarf ring (that's how excited I am about it!):

With a twilly (Eperon d'Or, I believe)

3274529736_620b40295c_m.jpg

With my long rectangluar silk scarf (non H)

With a rectangular shawl (non H again, I got this from a friend, it has no tags whatsoever, but I believe it is a cotton-silk mix). It's a bit tricky to pull the shawl through the ring, but it can be done!

And by itself as a pendant. The thin gold necklace is used here just because that's what I had on. I have a thicker silver one which I think will work very well.

rileygirl, MaggieD and VickyB ~ thank you

Rose, your Champs de Courses look is perfection.

capulet, I somehow missed this pic, it's lovely to see the Pavement in action...I am slightly sidetracked by your perfect teeth, seems that you and dogbiskit share the same dentist!

DiamondS ~ you are über-stylish! The Jige and Kantha shawl together are so chic, love this look!

LaBoheme, with this pretty scarf and smile you brighten up anyone's grey and rainy day!

LinaFIN, congrats on your pretty Gavroche and beautiful horn scarf ring, both look lovely on you. The horn ring looks great with the other silks too and the pendant idea is really cute!
