Linesse--your Soie Libre is the colorway I was most drawn to when the pics started being posted. It's pure summertime. I could see that wrapped around your waist over a bathing suit, laying back with a martini in hand. Okay....I'm going to stop looking at that one anymore....(thinking bad pick-up-the-phone thoughts)

Thank you. I wish I could wrap it around my waist!:p I had to tie my scarf to my bag today to make me feel like the warm weather was coming (today it was between -12C and -20C!!!)

WOW! This is really a fantastic knot!

doloresima, Mai tai, riley girl, I am waiting for my husband to leave the house so that I can experiment with the shawl as a dress :) I think I'll need a lot of time and possibly two shawls in the same color way :) you all look thin, tall and gorgeous -- yes, riley, H makes you look very tall!

doloresima, riley, we're scarf twins:yahoo: - I have bolduc in olive, taupe, chestnut brn and have worn it with everything (I got the idea from a beautiful pic of an asian model Allanrvj posted a while back) and coupons in the taupe, grey, brown and that teal, burnt orange (does it count that you have it if you bought it because you love it and was worried that it would no longer be around, but you are keeping it hidden in its box in your closet, because you feel too guilty to open it?

riley girl, did someone say you got a sellier? Is it a kelly? did I miss something big ???

allanrvj, you will not regret getting coupons in orange; it will look so hot on you!!!!!!! And keep you so warm -- and its practical -- it goes with everything & it doesn't pill because its only part cashmere!

A-T-G, love your trio of pics and your glasses and your expression of concentration when you took the pic (I get that too)

crotchet bella, I love your green and bittersweet brown scarf -- one or two pics before your gorgeous bbk

english, love your blue and brn persona -- I never knew that was the name, but I picked mine up sometime in the 1990's and it is one of my favorites (plisse with white with blue masks faces)

Someone (I think a high school math student on tpf ?) wrote that the GM cashmere shawl is the best value per inch :)

New Years resolution, must learn to tie shawl as dress and lose enough weight so that I can think about leaving the house with it on!!!!

880 - LOL! I also fell into the category of buy the scarf but hide it in the closet because of my fear to wear.... and my New Year's Resolution is to wear wear wear!!!! SO SHOW US YOUR SCARVES!

MaiTai, thank you for remembering me! I have been trying to work hard so that I can save more for H, LOL. Too much tamptation in this thread. :sweatdrop:

Lina, what a gorgeous way to wear the scarf.

A-T-G, cute, cute.

liness, wow, I love that colorway, it looks fabulous on you.

Thank you hair-mess, MiaT, crochetbella, MaiTai (do you speak Finnish?), Rose, A-T-G, LaVan and mavsun for your compliments and making me feel welcome!

liness - Congratulations on getting your new scarf! It's -9C here today and looking at it sure made me miss summer.

A-T-G - I love the colors on your Swinging!

I was off all day today and have so many posts to catch up on. Just wanted to tell everyone looking fabulous!

Thank you all for your kind compliments on my Sellier. It's a great little pocket square!

ATG--Love the Swing!

Lina--Beatiful Knot!

880--I got the Sellier Pocket Square, no Kelly and prob. not for a long time! Wear those scarves!!! Glad to know another Bolduc lover. I would like the colorway that you got too!

Liness--That scarf is on my radar. The colors are beautiful and I love your SO Kelly!

MaiTai--I did your Shawl as a dress with opening in the front with my Bolduc Shawl and white pants and white tank top with orange H belt. OMG, stunning but I am about 1 foot to short to pull off the look so I did this. I folded the shawl in half then did the knot with folded side down. This gave me a vest look--I liked it! Anyway, I'll have to figure out a way to get pics up as my husband thought that I had absolutely lost it and I didn't want to risk ridicule or dirty looks by asking him to photograph me. Men...they just don't get it!

880 and liness ~ thank you

880, hope your laptop is ok ;)

liness, ahh..the first glimpse of 'Soie libre' - how exciting! I've been waiting for this.. Congrats on your gorgeous CW, perfect on your SO Kelly and perfect on you!! Can't believe how cold it is where you are, keep warm!

wantitneedit, love your changing avatar pics, too cute!

mavsun ~ good for you :flowers:

LinaFIN, it's rusty, but I do.

A-T-G, very pretty on you! Did you get anything? Tell us please!!

rileygirl, your variation sounds a great , bet you looked fabulous. Men seem to be the same everywhere...mine just roll their eyes when I ask them to take a pic. Hence 90% of my posts are mirror shots.

Rose, I've never seen a Tweedie before.. not only does it sound cute, but looks incredibly cozy and warm. It's a great look with the matching hat!

Thank you MaiTai... yes the Tweedie is incredibly soft and cosy!
