I  this thread! During the past couple of weeks I've read through this entire thread! And I've ooohed and aaahed and drooled and been inspired! There are so many knots I want to try now! And so many scarves I want :)

At the moment, my H silk collection consists of only two twillies (brown Eperon d'Or and turquoise Rayons) . I wear them all the time, so I know I'll be acquiring more of them and the other scarf "types" that H makes, hopefully very soon. In addition to those twillies I have two cotton pochettes, by Pucci and Burberry, and two scarves from a Finnish scarf designer Marja Kurki (a silk pochette and a long rectangular silk scarf).

Today I wore the long Marja Kurki scarf and although it isn't H, I thought I'd post a pic here (if it's not okay to post non-H scarves, please forgive me).

You look great and I just love your knot !

doloresmia, rileygirl, xiaoxiao, arabesques, Raz, Diva, Rose, dou.dou and mavsun ~ thank you ladies

doloresmia and rileygirl, looking forward to seeing what you are going to come up with!

arabesques congrats on your grail! It's a wonderful idea to wear the friendship knot this way, beautiful!

crochetbella, gorgeous and hot!!

mavsun good to see you again.

LinaFin ~ tervetuloa! I love the way you've tied your scarf, so pretty! Thank you for posting and welcome to this thread!

LinaFin, you look great, lovely scarf.

CB.... smoking! (to quote the average teen age boy, lol).... but really, you look super hot!

MaiTai, MiaT, Van thank you!:heart:

It's another cold day here, I am wearing my Hermes Tweedie.

doloresima, Mai tai, riley girl, I am waiting for my husband to leave the house so that I can experiment with the shawl as a dress :) I think I'll need a lot of time and possibly two shawls in the same color way :) you all look thin, tall and gorgeous -- yes, riley, H makes you look very tall!

doloresima, riley, we're scarf twins:yahoo: - I have bolduc in olive, taupe, chestnut brn and have worn it with everything (I got the idea from a beautiful pic of an asian model Allanrvj posted a while back) and coupons in the taupe, grey, brown and that teal, burnt orange (does it count that you have it if you bought it because you love it and was worried that it would no longer be around, but you are keeping it hidden in its box in your closet, because you feel too guilty to open it?

riley girl, did someone say you got a sellier? Is it a kelly? did I miss something big ???

allanrvj, you will not regret getting coupons in orange; it will look so hot on you!!!!!!! And keep you so warm -- and its practical -- it goes with everything & it doesn't pill because its only part cashmere!

A-T-G, love your trio of pics and your glasses and your expression of concentration when you took the pic (I get that too)

crotchet bella, I love your green and bittersweet brown scarf -- one or two pics before your gorgeous bbk

english, love your blue and brn persona -- I never knew that was the name, but I picked mine up sometime in the 1990's and it is one of my favorites (plisse with white with blue masks faces)

Someone (I think a high school math student on tpf ?) wrote that the GM cashmere shawl is the best value per inch :)

New Years resolution, must learn to tie shawl as dress and lose enough weight so that I can think about leaving the house with it on!!!!

Ok ladies, I know I said yesterday no more pics of GM dresses. :noggin:But technically speaking these pics aren't dresses, but Tunics. :whistle:I couldn't resist playing with the technique of the 2nd style cashmere dress, as the results are so different when teamed up with a pair of pants, boots and a shirt.

thud. I am eating garlic fried rice and steak (its a vaguely filipino thing) and surfing this with my other hand (possible if you cut the steak in little bites) and nearly toppled both all over my laptop. So amazing.

Van Miracle, how do I log on to see the video clip ? of doloresima and maitai creating the dresses out of the shawls?

This is fantastic!

Everyone is so creative.:yahoo: Keep the ideas coming!!! MaiTai, you kill me. You are so creative! Van is an inspiration because of the scarfTV. Everyone is great!

Today, I got a call from my SM that my "Soie Libre" in Blue/Ardoise/Blanc arrived!!! It was the only one they got in this colourway in their store. They only ordered five scarves in this design and the others are in the grey and white. So, I played with it.

Linesse--your Soie Libre is the colorway I was most drawn to when the pics started being posted. It's pure summertime. I could see that wrapped around your waist over a bathing suit, laying back with a martini in hand. Okay....I'm going to stop looking at that one anymore....(thinking bad pick-up-the-phone thoughts)

A-T-G--I love that Swinging H! Luxury Scarves had that colorway, and I drooled over it. Beautiful.

And thanks everyone for complimenting "Amours". I started wearing the friendship knot this way because I don't have any pocket squares with which to make the "flower" knot. To me, the friendship knot at the neck is something like a flower--although maybe it's just the daisy petals that make me think that.

<I finally secured one of my dream scarves: an Amours in jacquard silk. I love this design. It's my second Amours, and I crazily think I'd rather keep finding these than look at the new designs. I'm wearing it in the friendship knot, with the ends tied at the back of the neck. This keeps the scarf safe from kitty claws>

Wow! That looks so beautiful on you! By the way, could you loan me a couple of inches of your amazing neck???? I could really use it! ;-)

CG

CG--We could trade! A few inches of neck for a few inches of legs. I have such short legs.
